I love Schitt’s Creek, especially Annie Murphy (Alexis), she never gets her due. It’s always Eugene, Daniel or Catherine...never mentions Annie.

That is simply CRUEL that Colbert opens with "you're on the show, your dad is on the show, your sister is on the show, and Catherine O'Hara.." For those who haven't seen the show, his sister plays the waitress "Twyla", a very minor role. "Alexis", his sister on the show, is an entirely different actress, Annie Murphy, who is AMAZINGLY TALENTED. She wasn't even MENTIONED! I'm not saying this merely out of principle: Annie Murphy is REALLY TRULY FANTASTIC on that show.

Absolutely, could not agree more. First season I thought, "Eh." But it really just gets better and better. Season 5 and 6 are the funniest, imho.
I think the show was actually funnier in the earlier seasons, but it gets more interesting in the later ones.

Love this guy. His dad must be sooo proud. I grew up watching Pops on Second City, as a kid in Toronto. Schitt's Creek is hilarious. And Daniel's a gem. I wish him all the success and happiness.
Just finished binge watching the entire show and started watching all over again. Absolutely loved it! Dan is such a beautiful creature. Every character on the show is great ❤️

Now the 4th season is up on Netflix and caught up-now to wait until January when it actually airs season 5 and I’m not sure how I’ll manage. They’re right though, someone it just gets better by the episode (much like US’ Shameless can with their newer seasons vs older). I personally think season 4 might be their best especially with Alexis’ storyline and those episodes came out after that comment!

I have literally watched the 3 seasons 3 times. It is so Canadian and love because is just like seeing your friends having fun. LOVE THE SHOW!!!! brilliant writers and the acting is great. Dan aka DAVID is hilarious.

This show is awesome! I bingewatched this from front to last available episode.. On vacation every night we came back in... Lol it was great!
The writing for this show is brilliant ....i.e., it is sarcastic, funny, ironic, sentimental and moving. This show can go from lighthearted funny yet cleverly written to sober, heartfelt and tissue worthy (you will cry) since you come to know the characters quickly with all their foibles and tenderness and sardonic selves. Schitt's Creek is so unique one must see it to believe it's writing, acting and directing.....characters to draw you in and writing to keep you there. Bravo to cast and crew.

oh my... I never read the credit obviously. The acutal son....wow. I started the show when highly depressed, everything was too depressing. Really. When I recovered a bit and they show continued on I started to find it really funny.
The characters are all histerically absurd/funny. I would love to play such a role (if I was an actor)

Wow I’m on the last episode of season 3 and I’ve been watching it nonstop through this depression. It gives me something to do and laugh at during the day when I’m alone and I think it’s helped a lot.
