1:59 「あぁ、これが仮面の裏だ」
仮面の裏を見たスヴェンが自分を支配していた女が「か弱い薔薇を演じる強かな女」ではなく「男を嫌い愛を求めている少女」（父親のＤＶがフラッシュバックした？）でもあると気づいてしまって、これ以降の歌詞で「お前の生き場などどこにもない」「醜悪い自分が嫌い、そうなんだろ」「不器用な妖精（お前）」みたいにロゼッタの弱い部分に触れているのがたまらなく好き。
支配者である強い女、だけじゃなく不器用にしか生きられない少女でもあると知ったからあの呆然とした表情だったのか、それとも手を伸ばしてしまった自分に驚いたのか……。
この物語の1番の肝は共犯者という肩書きすら望んでしまうくらい依存を求めていたにも関わらず、結局ロゼッタがチェルシーを助けたから共犯者にはなりきれなかったところのような気がする。堪らなく残酷で大好き。
ほんとに、この曲だけ聴くと、共依存の2人なんやけど、revolverで照明が落ちた先の話を知ってる私たちからしたらね、残酷
でも、ビタースウィートでスヴェンもロゼッタもいたから上手くやれてるのかなぁ
スヴェン、RAHWIAさんが「ただのモブ」として登場させ、それに合わせて奏音さんが設定やストーリーを作ったというエピソードが本当に「命を詰められた」キャラでめっちゃ良い……
2:14ロゼッタが泣きだしたい時に笑うしかできなくなったのは、お母さんの「泣かないで、枯れてしまうわ。」という言葉をずっと守っていたからなのかな。「なぜか」ってついてるのはスヴェンが背景を知らないからか、可憐な薔薇を演じても咲けなくて結局孤独になって、泣いていなかったのに心はもうとっくに枯れ果てていて何を信じていたのかわからなくなっちゃったからか…
そんなロゼッタがREVOLVERで最後涙を流したのは、心の弾倉を充填てくれるのは欲望に塗れた弾じゃなくて枯れ果てた小さな花に与える優しい水だったから。
スヴェンがREVOLVERでロゼッタと事に及んだ描写がなかったのも、最初から本性を見抜いていたからなのか…両親の影響を多大に受けた不器用な「嘘つき」のふたりが、真っ当な理由や最も欲しいはずのものを星に願ったりせず、歪んだまま脆くて何よりも強い糸に依存って互いを生かし合ってんのやばすぎだろ。こんなに歪なのに、どうして美しいんだろうな
「そうなんだろ」ってとこ、笑いも泣きもしないスヴェンがちょっとだけ悲しそうというかやるせない感じの顔になるの「共犯者」以上の何かが見えてすげぇ良い
What I find most interesting is he pledges himself to Rosetta despite knowing that kindness she showed him was a lie and only so she could benefit from it. He accepted her, not because she was able to trick him like she did the other men, but just because he had nothing else. And that same perceptiveness lets him get closer to her, as he picks up on her personal quirks and emotions much easier than others as well.

ピノキオの物語ベースの話。
0:06 命(たま)を詰め込んで生きていく場所は、どこにもない。
→だからまだ弾丸は撃たれていない状態。(REVOLVERでは撃った後が出てきている)
0:34 スヴェンを象ったマリオネットの下に本が置いてある。歌詞に読点が多く出てくる。
→物語調であることを表しているのではないか。
0:36 図書室のようであり、スヴェンの身なりはきちんとしている。
→恐らくロイスキャの世界線ではまだきちんとした教養や大量の本の購入は平民には厳しい。よって、お金持ち(貴族)の子であると思われる。
親からの期待などを背負い、狭い世界で勉強し続けたため、それに歯向かう気持ちや苦痛などは消えてしまった。(気付かないふりをしていた)
0:50 自分が分からなくなってしまったスヴェンは(勉強に限度があり見捨てられたのかもしれない)親にも気味悪がられてしまった。
1:01 命令しても何しても感情を出さないスヴェンをからかい、いじめるマスカレイドの同僚たち。
1:11 自らを縛る過去(感情への蓋)を断ち切っているようにも、いわゆる自傷をしているようにも見える。

→他人の操り人形であったスヴェンに初めて感情を灯した人がロゼッタである。

→悪意がある読み方である。1:11で自傷をしていると受け取ればロゼッタは死ぬところであったスヴェンを救ったと受け取れる。この世では生きていても意味はないのに、と。

→ロゼッタは可愛い愛されガールとして生きているが、スヴェンにはこの時点でそれが偽りであるとバレている。恐らく幼少期、親の機嫌を取るために培った観察眼。

→REVOLVERの事件勃発。ロゼッタの手には昔の玩具たち。
2:58 予約された５番のボックス席。午前０時には帰るといったレベッカを信じ続け、ロゼッタが予約し続けている席。歌姫になれると信じ、自分の晴れ舞台を見てもらおうと予約していたが、チェルシーが歌姫に選ばれ、晴れ舞台さえもない。
2:59 ファントムペインに出てきたトリカブト。花言葉は復讐。
3:02 どんな玩具も命を詰めれば名銃にしてやるよ。
→玩具=スヴェンはロゼッタに感情というものを教えてもらい、ロゼッタと共に支え合う(共犯者である)銃となった。
3:12 お互いがお互いを利用し、チェルシーたちと反して、恋や愛が分からない2人にとってはそんなものクソ喰らえ。
歌姫という呪いと操り人形という呪いの「舞台」。
愛されないと生きていけないロゼッタと、支配されないと生きていけないスヴェンは、糸ほど細く共犯者ほども重い依存をお互いにしながら生きていく。
これピノキオだったんですね！この考察を見た後に木偶の坊や妖精といった歌詞を再確認してめっちゃ納得しました。確かに1：19の背景の絵はロゼッタがドレスを着ているように、スヴェンの鼻がピノキオのように見えます！Hi-D-D-Dはハイ・ディドゥル・ディー・ディーのことですし、後半には星にでも願えよとあってピノキオ～～スヴェン～～！！となりました。素敵な考察ありがとうございます！！！
個人的にもう一つ「恋だ愛だなんてものは星にでも願えよ」→星に願いを、確かピノキオの主題歌でしたよね

女性的な表現が得意な奏音69さんが今回「お前」や「俺」といった男らしい表現を使ったのが衝撃的でテンション上がってしまいました…！！メガネくんはロゼッタが好きなのかなと思っていましたが、二人の間に恋だ愛だなんてものはなく、あくまですべて見透かした上で依存しているんだと明かされて鳥肌が経ちました…依存う(よりそう)という歌詞もそう読めてしまうところがあるの天才的です！！RoyalScandalに出会えて本当に良かったって新曲を聞く度に思います！！
なんかいつもと違う感じで胸がモヤモヤしてたのは男らしい表現だったからか！
確かにそれだけでガラッと雰囲気変わりますよね、、

チェルシー関連の曲は華やかでお洒落な曲が多いのにロゼッタ関連になるとゴリゴリのロックなの対になってる感じがしてとても好き

しかも、イラストの色もチェルシーの場合は鮮やかな色なのに、ロゼッタだとモノクロに近い色になってるんだよね…
1:22でスヴェンにロゼッタが差し出したハンカチを3:13でスヴェンがロゼッタに差し出してるのエモすぎる
最初はロゼッタがスヴェンの青いインクを拭く為に布差し出してて、
最後はスヴェンがロゼッタの赤い血を拭く為に布差し出してる所好きです。
破滅に向かうスヴェンにハンカチを差し出すロゼッタ、破滅に向かうロゼッタにハンカチを差し出すスヴェン…良い。
ハンカチ、ずっとロゼッタから借りたままだったのもエモい。
ルイスの［光］は静かめだったけど、それに対してスヴェンの［BULLET］は激しめで、曲調に性格表れてるなと思った。
歌詞も「そうなんだろ」とか「妖精(お前)」とか強い語気で、 ［REVOLVER］から受けた印象からいい意味で裏切られたなあ。
チェルシーとルイスは童話のような綺麗な恋愛関係みたいなのに対して、この二人は人間味溢れるドロドロとした共依存みたいなのが対立してるみたいで好き
REVOLVERが拳銃、BULLETが銃弾。どっちも片方じゃ武器としては成り立たないところが、2人の共依存のような関係と同じなのかなーって思いました最高です😭😭😭
曲がバッチバチにカッコよくてスヴェンが見た目の割に口悪くてめっちゃ闇深いのがまたいい…
『何もない』って言ってる割にロイスキャの曲の中でダントツでロックな感じの曲調(？)がめちゃくちゃ好き…本人的には｢俺には何も無い｣みたいな感覚かもしれないけど、無意識のうちにそれを抑え込むために『何もない』って言い聞かせてるかもしれないって考えると、なんだか深い気がする…(語彙力)
ロゼッタが辛い時に笑うのも猿のおもちゃもどこかで見たと思ったらファントムペインだ。
辛いのに笑う→ファントムペインの最後の最後で幼い頃のロゼッタが振り向いてにっこりと笑う
猿のおもちゃ→間奏のところに出てた転がったおもちゃの中にあったもの。
ロゼッタは小さい頃からのトラウマで癖が抜けずにいる自分を醜いって言ってるんだね。泣けるね。
2:24のスヴェンの切なそうな顔がすごく好き…
いつも無表情なスヴェンの感情が現れた瞬間だったのかもね…
最初のohohはピノキオの｢星に願いを｣の冒頭ですよね。ピノキオモチーフだけど｢星にでも願えよ｣でピノキオを辞めてるというか、妖精なんか頼っちゃいないよって姿勢を感じました。
｢ガラクタな木偶の体に｣の直前に装填の音が入ってるめっちゃエモい…。銃(ロゼッタ)と弾(スヴェン)が手を組むという構図なんですよね(？)｢どんなおもちゃも弾丸を詰めれば名銃にしてやるよ｣と｢どんな名銃に弾丸を詰めても打ち尽くせばただの玩具｣でこんなにも見方が違うのかぁと言う気持ちです。自分は力量のある人間と思うロゼッタと、ロゼッタは操り人形というか、使い勝手のいい玩具としか感じてないスヴェン…。双方を聞けば聞くほど深さが増す…。沼。
スヴェンさんREVOLVERで見た時からビジュ大好きだったけど、自分が思ってたより全然過去重かったし共依存最高。ありがとうございます！！
ロゼッタちゃんの扱いがお姫様って感じじゃなくてお前とか嘘つきの目とか気づいてるのがまたいい......REVOLVERと繋がるところいっぱいあって最高だった......
「REVOLVER」のPVの中で、スヴェンがロゼッタに侍る描写は見受けられなかったので、唯一そういう下心なしの関係だったらいいなと思う一方、ロゼッタがどうしてもそういう関係をねだらないスヴェンを信用しきれずに他の男たちと同じような振る舞いを強要しててもいい……そんなスヴェンに計画で１番重要な照明の細工を任せているのが、２人がお互いにとって正しく無二の共犯者である証拠であるように思う。
いずれにせよ、「REVOLVER」の結末が２人にとって救いであって欲しい。
REVOLVER と BULLET
互いの胸の"弾倉(あな)"を"充填(うめ)"合う、仄暗いけれどそれぞれの拠り所になっていてほしいと心からそう思いました(Rのオタクより)
二人の関係が共犯者の糸に依存して繫がってるとかかっこよいいかよ…なんか今までのMVにたびたび登場してたけど見方が変わってなんか良き
ピノキオモチーフのスヴェンが「星に願えよ」って投げやりな所が良い……
Their relationship has to be my favorite thing about this series. I love well-written bonds that are impactful but not necessarily romantic.
OMG Sven backstory and character reveal is finally here!!! I always curious why he always on Rosetta's side no matter what. I thought it's because he love her, but actually it's because he want to know the Rosetta's real personality under her mask.
Sven thought that he is a puppet and Rosetta's help him, even though Sven knew that Rosetta have ulterior motives when she help him, but he stay by her side and realize that they resemble each other (because the both of them hate themselves but can't change themselves).
Royal Scandal's character always complicated and have interesting storyline. I hope they will make MV for "Once Upon a Time", because i really want to see the story with the movie as well, not just the lyrics of the song. Anyway, i'm looking forward for the next story from RoySca 😍

さまよってる夜って感じの曲だよね。甘い匂いに辿られてる感じがするし2人ともそれに無意識に擦り寄ってる
「妖精」って書いてるのに読み方が「お前」なのが個人的に好き。きっと最初は妖精に見えたんだろうな…でもだんだん悪い部分が見えてきて、でも離れられない美しさがロゼッタにはあるんだろうな
もうすでに出てるかもしれないけど、1:10 の脚とか紐とか体勢がタロットの「吊るされた男」に見える
カード番号は12で、この曲はEpisode0を含めると12曲目になるし、そのモチーフなのかな

Oh my goodness I LOVE this song. I just want to ramble about some things I've noticed and my thoughts- (I could definitely be wrong)
Right off the bat I can tell this whole song - Sven's story - is based off of Pinocchio. Obviously, Sven is Pinocchio himself since he's constantly describing himself as just a puppet. He's been controlled by others his whole life, probably physically and even emotionally. He has no control at all, NOTHING... not even the ability for happiness or sadness. He learns to accept that this is how living will be for him, until one day he meets Rosetta.
He calls Rosetta the 'Blue Fairy', which is the same magical being that transforms Pinocchio into a living boy. In the song he also describes his body being 'loaded life' since Rosetta's the Revolver that gives meaning to the bullet that is Sven. (I find that symbolism super cool wkdksk) And I guess technically thats instant foreshadowing for the fact that they were going to hurt SOMEBODY (cough cough Chelsea) because loading a bullet into a Revolver can only be for violent reasons, specifically targeted to kill. (Again, super cool symbolism)
When I first watched Revolver I thought Sven's only motive to hurt Chelsea for Rosetta was cos he was romantically interested in her, but after seeing this I highly doubt that's the case now.
Right when Rosetta gives out the order to kill Chelsea, the lyrics mention how Sven's 'Jiminy' is being tested. Jiminy refers to Jiminy Cricket, an actual character in Pinocchio who represented Pinocchio's conscience. So, when it says 'And I became alone again' it suggests that Sven lost his conscience. He lost his moral reasoning and went down the wrong path by abiding to Rosetta's wishes.
After this we get the scene where we see Rosetta's trauma from her abusive father come into light. Noticing this, Sven (knowing about her past or not) realised there was much more to her hatred. He probably felt pitiful towards her. (and possibly felt that she was similar to him in a way? At the end he refers to the both of them as liars?) There is some sort of connection between the two I think, because he mentions how a string connects his life to hers. Not confident on how he felt but he definitely read her like a book imo.
Also I noticed the Musical Jolly Chimp (the monkey holding cymbals) seems like an important symbolism but even after searching it up and looking through its history a bit I'm still not sure about what it really represents (and its so creepy looking I couldn't bear to keep looking at it LMAO).
Although I remember reading that the jolly chimp is an example of Singerie, which is just a visual arts genre of monkeys imitating human behaviour. Apparently monkeys were seen as 'a symbol of downgraded humanity' in the medieval period, so I thought MAYBE this would have a connection to the song since Rosetta hates herself.... sorry I'm probably super wrong with that though haha.
I can say that I searched up the symbolism of sunflowers, since they were around the moneky in one shot, and they symbolize loyalty and adoration. Yellow sunflowers in particular apparently mean goodness, truth and timelessness. Basically they have positive symbolism, im just not sure if I've gotten the specifics right on that.
Next we see the table for two, saying RESERVED Box 5. I'm gonna be honest but I have no clue for this. I saw a table for two and immediately thought of Rosetta's parents and their last meal together (from towards the end of Phantom Pain) but ik that's not the case. It could be for the Master of Bar Masquerade and Lillian but that's just me guessing.
I'm so bad at this but this is basically all I got that's significant. I enjoyed looking into this song regardless and I'd love to hear whatever I didn't pick up on from anybody!! I live for these songs and their symbolism.....
OH YEAH this song also includes 'Midnight' 「午前０時」into the lyrics.... every song so far has incorporated that specific word/phrase into the lyrics (besides from Chelsea, but that song did visually show it because there was a clock and the hands slowly pointed to 12... but maybe it wasn't Midnight and was noon instead?)
Midnight definitely has a significance in this series as a whole. I won't go onto it here but I did want to mention that in this song it says 'Blame yourself for being the ruler of Midnight' which refers to Rosetta. If I remember correctly, Midnight in the Royal scandal series is when something 'bad' or 'important' occurs in the story, so if Rosetta truly blames herself for being the 'ruler of midnight' it either means she blames herself for something bad that happened (eg her mother killing herself after murdering the abusive father... she did lie about comjng back at midnight) or maybe something more? OR I'M LOOKING TOO INTO IT....

I love this!! So far I've seen someone saying that Rosetta reserves places for her mother every night because she promised she'd come back for her in Phantom Pain, which I've learned here too is Phantom of the Opera reference? And the Midnight reference is from Cinderella, they say, which I think so too.
and about the monkey holding the cymbals, since you'd mentioned it was connected to the visual arts of monkeys imitating human behavior... I thought that maybe that moment when he saw Rosetta's true nature, that she was similar to him in a way, that she has a difficulty expressing her real emotions (wanting to cry but she sneers), because it was revealed in his behind the mask that Sven actually wants to noone to support him so he can die, I think? But he refuses "die alone", or mayhaps it might be a stretch but he doesn't want to die without anyone understanding his pain of being an empty person? and so can't Rosetta. She also refuses to die alone.
SO ANYWAY, got derailed but maybe when he witnessed that moment, he wanted to "imitate human behavior", exercise empathy for the first time and pity Rosetta, even go as far as to help her achieve her revenge. The sunflowers too, meaning that that moment his loyalty was to Rosetta? For giving him more of a reason to live. Because this poor girl before him, who he sees is similar to him, needs his help.
They're both "liars" in a way, but maybe they're just both people who can't express their emotions very well.

And Rosetta reserving a seat for her mother is so SAD ugh that suggests that she never learnt the truth of what happened to her right?? Either that or she's in heavy denial 😭
I love the idea that the line about midnight seems to be able to be interpretted in so many ways!
HiKKUN had a point that it was brought up in Cinderella, but it also features in Revolver!
To quote thisendlessforest's translation of said song
She does mention herself as "The midnight dominator" after a line implying she's able to manipulate and sway others to do her bidding quite easily ( Like how bees mindlessly flock to their queen.)
Sven seems to see beneath the "innocent" mask she wears, having been made aware of her true nature and intentions. His concious gets tested between his morality and his desire. I'd like to think that despite knowing full well what her request entails (perhaps sensing she was still a kind person deep down, even if he doesn't condone what she's done) he chooses to follow her regardless, because, as HiKKUN also said, two similiar people who realize they need each other in a sort of way. He's always followed what he's been told to do, but this time, it was something he chose for himself. It's unknown if he knew she wouldn't go through with it, or sensed that she actually had doubts given how conflicting her words and feelings were, but regardless, their relationship is really complex and fascinating!
@@fairywren6291 I'd like to think so too that Sven knew, and he was just going through with it so Rosetta can realize Chelsea actually still means a lot to her even if she's envious now. Because he wasn't fazed when Rosetta came rushing to her ?
It was a funny detail at the end of REVOLVER though when Lewis was looking at Sven. Like he knows he was suspicious...

スヴェンの方はロゼッタを間違いなく居場所も愛情も得られない女で共犯者で共依存相手だと思ってたのに

正直あほなのでリボルバーの当時から今にかけてスヴェンがでてたのさえ知らなかったのですが、ばりばりでてましたね、、。ビジュも好きです。公式サイトも更新されてて読んできました。最高でした。

I ship them so much but given how Rosetta is still traumatized with the abuse she's been through, and sees men nothing less than a tool, I like how the story doesn't go at "her trauma is now cured, now they're in love" but more like two broken people who found purpose(Sven)/ support(Rosetta) in each other. They are fine the way they are
And the theory about Sven might be a spy (from albert or the queen) is interesting I want to know how Rosetta would react to that given he might be a danger to Chelsea

Absolutely beautiful, like always. The use of part of Revolver’s melody towards the end caught me off guard, in a great way. And the implementation of imagery from Pinocchio is very creative, yet fits so naturally with the general fairytale style theming of the RS series.
That means this would be one of the many Pinocchio adaptations released this year /hj

First of all, I love music very much and for Sven to finally have a song, I've been waiting for it since he was "?".
There are some things that I noticed regarding the REVOLVER manga.
1- They used two panels from the manga, being Chelsea's introduction as Lilian's successor and Rosetta's reaction.
2- They changed the way they met, in the manga, Sven saves her life after Rosetta herself tries to ruin the light.
3- Table number 5 is the table that Rosetta reserved for her mother, Rebecca, the night they said who would be Lilian's successor.
4- Something I noticed, is the Monkey doll, how did she get it? Did Lilian or Kevin give it to her?
5- Lilian and Kevin are not so good at managing the bar- /j
6- Rosetta still has the memory of her stepfather beating Rebecca, I suppose that the fact that table number 5, which was Rebeca, is closed, it may be that Rosetta is already forgetting why she does what she does.
6- It may also be that from this point on, Rosetta accepted the true end of Rebecca (in the manga she realizes that she will not return).
