    Mr. Hughes and the management team have been straightforward, respectful and honest with the fanbase and with the players as well from the beginning.
    This is a recipe for success as their communication fosters understanding, patience and support from HABS fans.
    If it takes another 3 years for the HABS to become competitive for Lord Stanley's Cup as the rebuild continues, so be it. I'm on board 100%! 👍

    Love the channel and the progression of the production but Jesse is still louder than Josh. Loving the better production. This channel and Hockey Junkie are my 2 must watches every day.

    I believe Arbor and Florian are playoff players. They have that Perry, Katchuk feel. Maybe not to the production level but the physicality for sure

    Player agents could become the pool for NHL GM s of the future primarily because of the respect they show for players. They do not treat players as commodities or poker chips. They have demonstrated a sincere desire to accommodate a player and the family when a trade becomes necessary. They are good communicators and straight shooters.

    The way Jesse is all serious and then when Josh says ''unicorn'' he totally loses it, it is funny.

    Price, Gally, Savard, Armia and Dvorak are the main issues! It will cost us draft picks for price that's for sure... ( he will come back for a 1 day to retire) the rest can only be traded at the deadline for a 5th round draft pick ( save cash for next season)

    I hate the idea of Gally and Price retiring with another team,however,I have been a Habs fan since 1959,and
    my absolute love for this team,regardless of good or bad,far supersedes my feelings for either player. Sorry for the long run-on sentence.

    • @GeistHunt

      I feel that both players would be open to signing a one day contract to retire as a Hab. They know that their contracts are weighing down on the cap situation and that Montreal has to do what's best.

    Whether Price and/or Gallagher are traded is irrelevant to me personally.
    Our allegiance as fans is to the progress of the CH as a team, not to any individual players.

    That Florians hit was rightfuly called by ref, but it was not dirty.

    I’d get rid of Wideman to make room for young upcoming defencemen we have in the backstore.

    • @powers1500
      @powers1500 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wideman is a 7th or 8th defenseman and only played 46 games last season...would you want a young defenseman getting his minutes or just sitting in the stands not playing??? They are better off in the AHL having a lot playing time. I don't think Wideman is the guy you absolutely have to get rid of...since he does not cost much nor he steals ice time from anybody !!!

    Question: is hughes talking to the fans or to habs ownership with that quote?

  • @galkanftw
    @galkanftw ปีที่แล้ว

    "compete" a player that does not like to lose anything board battles faceoffs 1 on 1's they have to win every single battle and yep those type of players matter a lot.
    Hughes does not have any strategy for the cap because he doesn't yet know how well each prospect will turn out.I can tell you they over paid Nick and Cole and that will make it tough to give future top prospects the money they deserve or will want.
    I will make a bold prediction because I know how stupid managers are.I predict that if this team ever makes the playoffs Hughes will go out and pay too much for a goalie thinking it will make a difference.Bringing in a over paid goalie will force him to ship out some quality talent to make cap room.
    How well did the NYR do last year acquiring Kane......not well.How well did Washington do acquiring the prior Stanley cup goalie.....not well.What kind of a difference died Binnington make for StLouis?

    Tbh the Florian thing is cute and all but there is literally nothing at all to back up his chances at even the AHL nvm the NHL, Arber had some raw tools before he made the Habs...u cant even find a Florian highlight that isnt a fight....i dunno man i'd love to be proven wrong but this one seems pretty unrealistic

    I say get Price away from this team if you can. He quit on his teammates, plain and simple. His presence now (when he actually feels like 'blessing' the team with it) is just a distraction from the job at hand. Buh-bye. In my books, Gallagher is the guy who deserves to stick around and retire a Hab.

    Anderson is top6 in Montreal or Columbus, not on a contender. Around 30 points a season isn’t much and that’s playing top line minutes with often the best players in Montreal and Columbus.
    The fact he has a part time scoring touch puts him among the best talents for a third line around the league, but his contract makes him uninteresting for his actual chair.
    To trade him, Montreal will have to retain 50% (2.75) and maybe they would get something interesting in return at the deadline where a solid 3rd liner/pair is worth a 1st or 2nd round pick sometimes.
    He could fit basically anywhere under these circumstances.

    I don't understand the greed of this next generation. Price needs to retire asap. If Mario Lemieux could retire, leaving huge money on his contract, so can Price. Yes, I understand Lemieux is brilliant and Price is dumb as rocks, but that's no excuse.

    • @d3lvZ
      @d3lvZ ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't understand that Price may have damaged his body permanently in net and wants to be paid his contract?
      Also pro tip: If you ever talk that disrespectfully out loud about Price in Montreal you may get assaulted (not by me)

    • @cecaju9516
      @cecaju9516 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mario took a 25% ownership stake in the team in lieu of the $26 million he was owed on his contract that ended up being worth $350 million when the team was sold. Nobody is giving up million$ out of goodness of their heart.
