Ok, so Baptist trace their theology to the first century with John the Baptist. Predating the disciples and predating Jesus being baptized, John the Baptist and his disciples were already preaching the good news and preparing the way of the Lord. It's blatantly obvious with scripture that baptist theology predates Catholicism dogma And no where is scripture is catholic dogma spoken of or needed for salvation. Since scripture proves out right that Catholics weren't the first group of organized Christians tasked with the great commission, how do you reconcile abandoning these proven scriptures to believing church fathers have authority over Christ and His word? That is what they believe, I got that directly from the source, so your claim of baptist to Catholic conversation is unbiblical and very disturbing to read.

Welcome home brother in Christ.
Most beautiful. I feel that same call. I wanted to be a missionary in my teens as well.
I wanted to be a nun. But I was Southern Baptist, and Baptist couldn't be nuns. Many years later, I have come home. I have not gotten overseas yet, but I am a missionary in the United States.
Beautiful testimony 🙏🏼
I believe god loves us all no matter the human rituals, all churches should be united under god.
Thank you for sharing, that was really beautiful. As a mom, I always wonder how we proudly raise our kids to be individuals with a free spirit, but when they choose something we would not choose, dismiss them... Makes no sense to me. What a better thing could happen to a parent than having a child following his/her calling and being happy??? All the best to you ☘️
Awesome, blessed story!!
God bless you 🙏 😊
Welcome home!! 🙏🙏
John Calvin doesn’t believe you can be saved if you aren’t the right person. He believes everyone is predetermined to go to heaven or hell when they’re born. That doesn’t sound very logical to me.
I will pray for you Joel.
