@@rl5579 That's possible and that makes the 10% a bit more courageous. They know they're dealing with a toxic culture that could bite them in the ass but they still put their neck out. It's not just the players that have been a part of hazing but the management as well because they've been in hockey for decades at all levels. So speaking up to management that has turned a blind eye to this in the past takes some guts.

They are all afraid of the Woke Mafia. I bet everyone is now afraid of their own skeletons being dragged out of the closet. We live in an era where people are more interested in canceling and ruining lives, for what they did when they were children, than looking in the mirror and being critical of themselves. The world is sick with narcissism.

As someone who spent a lifetime being bullied, my heart goes out to Isaiah, Miller will likely go play in Europe now, but, at least he will be far away from his victim. PS I'm 61 and still in therapy over years of cruelty, the worst part is, bullies rarely regret their actions because in their minds, "It was all in fun".

The Athletic ran a great article, or maybe a series of articles on this in 2020. There's more to the bullying than the lollypop and beating. Even after being convicted apparently, Miller stalked Isiah and his home. Miller's parents started a campaign of hate against Isiah's family. It went on for years. • Getting beaten up by three bullies, culminating with one karate chopping my knee & snapping my cruciate ligament - causing permanent damage & eventual arthritis (as misaligned bones grind together).

We neither live in a perfect country or perfect world and certainly have room to do better! It doesn't pay as well either. Teachers make less than 30 thousand a year and yet they pay off student loans that for all intents and purposes contributes to the common good, they are forced by economics to leave a profession that is both noble and that they love. I don't know but if I were a teacher and have to jump through hoops and attacked by parents (school board meetings) just to eat, you can bet your bottom dollar I'd be gone. When we were kids many of us did stuff that we regret today. The things this guy did to a vulnerable schoolmate, over years, with a wingman, demonstrate an egregious lack of empathy. The repeated abuse, clear cruelty, lack of authentic remorse or regret and avoidance of responsibility all point to psychopathic behaviour. You want to sink your business or team? Hire this guy. He'll run off all the kind, competent, dynamic folks leaving only those who'll accept his style of abuse. He'll make a great CEO someday. Thank you for making this video. I have had trolls on me for supporting the decision to let Miller go. I am so sick of the excuse "he was only 14" or one guy said this was an example of cancel culture! 🤦🏻‍♀Cancel culture is when one person steps wrong and is cancelled in the eyes of others. Miller bullied the kid for 7 years! A 14 year old knows racial epithets are unacceptable - children know that! To say that a child doesn't know it's wrong to tell a Black child that his Black birth parents did not want him, hence he had to be adopted by white parents. You are underestimating children if you think they don't realize those repeated malicious actions are wrong! The fact that he never apologized to Isaiah or his family prove his lack of remorse. Attempting to make an apology requested by the Bruins is just two-faced. I saw a more recent interview where Miller said "I'm a good guy on an off the ice" and that "I lift up my team" - evidence of arrogance and pretentiousness. It's disturbing that Sweeney hired him in the first place, but letting him go was the right and financially beneficial choice. 😏 It is a privilege, not a right, to play in the NHL.
