So many interesting little toys! When i was a kid (with barbie dolls) there was dolls houses, RVs and limos for barbies, little foods and make up, now, we have bear traps, (and at the dollar store, grills), and even more neat little things for toy dolls!
Really cool video, I used to collect the Evangelion capsule figures way back in the day (living in the UK I had to buy them off eBay). I had no idea there was such a wide range now, and fantastic quality! Do we get 'gacha' game from the word 'gashapon' do you think?
Thanks man! Ahh, good question. So I recently learned ‘Gashapon’ is the name used by Bandai, and ‘Gacha’ or ‘Gacha-gacha’ is the name used by Takara Tommy, which is the other one of two largest toy companies in Japan. I think people mostly call them ‘Gachapon’ today (as you also know), which seems like a combination of the two names - Yasu
I'll respect them as long as they are not like the ones in Japan. In Japan they put a machine with one or two things that would be cool to have, then the rest of the items are usually Junk. (ie the Pokemon one where Pikachu and Squirtle are the good items, and the rest are pokemon you never heard of) then they fill the machine mostly with junk items. So they force you to keep on paying if you want a good item.

We have stands in malls in chicago. Not many but you can find them of you look hard enough.
