Fiendslayer is my favorite card ever. I pulled a foil one when i was a kid and still have it to this day. If I didn’t get that card I don’t think I would still be playing magic today.

Man, I'd like to see it now, since Fervent Champion, Rimrock Knight, Murderous Rider, Midnight Rider, Cavalier of Flames/Gales/Night, Stormfist Crusader, Blacklance Paragon, and Knight of the Ebon Legion all have had standard top 8s in the past few months, with numerous decks having Murderous Rider, Midnight Rider, and the Cavaliers. I don't think they'd take out some of the top 5, but the ones on the edge might be knocked out by the riders or cavaliers.

History of Benalia is just such a rediculous card that could easily warp the format around it. calling it now we are going to see a resurgence of white weenies and possibly even BW midrange as between History, Aryel Knght of Windgrace, Benalish Marshal, knight of grace, knight of malice, dauntless bodyguard, kwende pride of femeref, Danitha Capashen and Blackblade Nevermind Baneslayer white aggro looks insane.

there is some kind of error with the points of knight of stromgald. it says 10 pro tour and 2 gp top 8s finishes which would be 22 score not 17, and then it says 14 standard and 6 extended, which would be 20 points which is neither 17 nor 22? what are the actual numbers?

Also I'm pretty sure only 3 have seen play, but I think phoenixes would be a good one for a couple years time because wizards seems to be printing a decent amount of decent ones.
They may use that last one in tournaments but that's not one I'd ever use. You weaken yourself and decrease what you can cast every turn to pump a creature. It's not worth countering that to make one creature stronger.
It is far more than just pumping a creature, it tutors up any land. So the land replaces itself, so you don't go down lands. Any land Includes non-basics too. Knight of the Reliquary is an excellent card, and the way you are thinking about it is all wrong.
Number 10 is used in Commander so yes it does have a place if something is good and commander still don’t say it doesn’t have a place people play in commander it has a place
Expecting these videos to comment on commander is like going to a Chinese food restaurant and expecting them to serve lasagna. Every one of these videos explicitly states how the cards are ranked, and commander isn't part of it.
@@NizzahonMagic I get that, but the way you put this out by either placing 27 even though Commander is an eight competitive tournament format. It still counts a lot of the car that you say were really getting standard and placed this much but haven’t seen play anywhere else is a lie they see playing commander just say that and I’ll be happy.

So as lord is not a real creature type, maybe a top ten of creature that have a passive effectof of giving +1/+1 to a creature type? Tho i guess it would be mostly feairies...
Don't forget tribal support for cards that aren't considered to be "tribal" due to a lack of Lords! Monks, Shamans, and Elementals are all excellent tribal types but there are very few actual Lords that directly give them +X/+X specifically for being a tribe member. Each tribe has some incredible support though!

Knight Exemplar didn't even make the list and she's the keystone of my knight deck along with Kinsbaile Cavalier. Once I get two exemplars out I can Day of Judgment to clear the board and freely attack. In some instances I can even do it with 1 Exemplar since she's the only one that gets destroyed if I have adequate damage after. ;-;

(Big Furry Monster) -if you can call that 1 creature.
I have a Wilt-Leaf Liege. Got it in the first precon I ever bought: Turnabout. Umbral Mantle makes a nice infinite combo with anything that can untap a land combined with a land that can grant more than three mana (either through enchantments or as part of its base function).
I definitely feel like Paladin en vec and especially KNIGHT EXEMPLAR deserved a spot on this list. Knight Exemplar is a crazy srtrong Lord for knight tribal. And En vec is Mirran Crusader's early brother. I will give you major props for putting Mirran Crusader at two. Definitely a deserved spot. My all time favorite card in magic.

What do you mean by protection is being retired?
It is discontinued keyword ability, at least for now. They announced it with Magic Origins if I remember correctly, along with land walk.

I would probably still call it "Lord," most people know what that means! Though, I would argue that cards like "Goblin Warchief," are also lords...

Yeah, due to the duplicate pump knights, classic Necro deck would commonly have 12 knights.

The reason they weren't on the list is because of the ranking system he uses. It only considers tournament results.
