Before adding carrot, add a spoon of ghee.. toh gajar kadai mein lagega nahin. You can saute the dry fruits in the beginning. You can also add bay leaf for enhanced taste.

Please fry the gajar with ghee first before adding milk..it enhances the flavor of the halwa even more .
Also if you cook the gajar little more towards end it tastes even better ..
Bhat n bhat channel carrot halwa you can check for reference.

Halwa should be lachchhedaar... For that look always grate thick... Milk should be very less quantity.. Because excess milk and other dairy reduces the flavour of real gajar...add only some khoya after cooling down

I wanted you to share this tip on your channel next time whenever u share a recipe.. I don't know the elaichi powder u r using is readymade or homemade.. also at the same time I don't know how many people know about this .. which my mother in law has taught me .. Dry Roast all the whole elaichi [ around 50 to 60 gm ] in a kadai till litttle liitle light brown spots appear on it on medium to high gas .. once done.. transfer it to a plate and let it cool totally.. once cooled .. the outer skin will be crisper.. then grind it in smaller size mixer jar all the roasted whole elaichi along with skin with 3 to 4 tsp sugar to a fine powder... and store it in an airtight container for many many months. Try it once atleast.. and you will feel the aroma and taste in your dishes.. hope it helps to many
