Finally!! A floor plan for a solo traveler! Excellent! Love the interior design. I've been waiting for the RV industry to catch on to the solo traveler floor plan. Well done Thor!
I am a full-time RVer. If I was single, I'd absolutely love this van. The interior is beautiful. There is tons and tons of storage and counter space. The refrigerator is a good size and even has a freezer. The rear bath seems adequate in size too.
I spent quite a bit of time in this one at Tampa. Then I test drove it on Monday. This floor plan is my favorite. I love the sofa. I removed the pillows and laid in in as a twin bed and it was perfect. Also just pulling out one side like the sales lady did makes a super comfy chaise lounger. I want the one with the lithium batteries no generator.
My biggest regret with our Travato is not getting the lithium. An upgrade/retrofit will be in our future sometime this year. We live four hours from Reno, the home of Battle Born Li batteries, so I’d like to just drive over the hill and have their recommended installer in Sparks put them in for us. Not as snazzy as the Travato Volta system, no autostart, but we could run the microwave, A/C, etc. without firing up the blasted generator.
Love floor plan. Really like tables. Larger refrigerator is great. Kitchen counter space is amazing. As a single woman traveler I would put this at top of my list. Would like Lithium batteries, but not much of an off grid camper.
I love this layout, much better than others for one person. I would use this mostly for day tripping and having my own clean facilities with me. With my husband on an overnight (probably a rare occasion since it's a bit claustrophobic for two, I never realized how much bigger they look on camera until we toured a Jayco Swift yesterday) he can have the bed and I'll find a place for my foldout latex mattress. I wish it had lithium, so I could run the AC in stealth mode. But with that upgrade I would definitely get this model over any other model I've seen. Larger bathroom - a must -neither of us could move our arms in the tight Roadtrek bathroom - they show the big salesman sitting on it but you never see him demonstrating how he would actually for example bend his arm to reach the toilet paper, because he can't - and a decent fridge, a nice place to sit and eat, and I'm sure the bed would serve, I figure I am bringing my fold up 4" latex bed pad no matter the model, in case of overnight or a nap. A little breathing room and place to sit without taking up all the space by the twin beds. And a decent fridge. Do I dare hope they will come out with a lithium option. I don't need a hardcore boondocking for extended times van. Just something to tool around town and not worry about getting caught out away from a clean bathroom. Thanks Scott for the walk thru!
I love this rg. It has so much storage packed into 21ft. 6 good size cabinets under the 5.5 cu ft refrigerator 5 cabinets in the kitchen, 3 over the sofa, 1 large cubby hole over the cab area, 2 drawers and a decent wardrobe closet in the bathroom. Wow, in a class b. And you can get 11000 watts of lithium batteries and alternator with that 20k for only $99,000. Nice.and I almost forgot the 2 cabinets at the buffet area
Currently, my favorite floor plan. As weekend Warriors I like the feeling of the couch being a “lounge” when not in bed mode. I haven’t measured it but from what I’ve read the bed is only about 48” wide. That’s great if you’re a snuggle couple. Kinda tight if you’re not. The driver/passenger seats must be re-cushioned or something as I’m MUCH more comfortable in those seats than the Travato, or standard RAM seats. Haven’t researched enough to know if that’s true though. Admittedly, I’m a big guy at 5’11” and 225lbs. I don’t recall the toilet seat being that close to the back door in the model I was in. That could be a game changer for me. I’ll have to investigate if there was a change for 2021. Only thing stopping me at this point is Thor quality. I just don’t have a comfort level with them yet but I’m watching. Thanks. Keep up the great work.
I like this floor plan and taking a few minutes to assemble the bed is not what I would consider a hardship. Looks like a great affordable option for a beginner.
Would be nice to replicate the table for an additional one at the opposite corner of the other sofa chair so that there is one table per chair. The quietness of the generator is such an improvement. I'm liking the kitchen toward the rear and the more abundant counter space. The "end table" at the rear end of the sofa chair is nice. Love the pop-up electrical. The wardrobe inside of the bathroom has been odd since they were first introduced. After a shower the floor remains wet for a while and getting to the wardrobe with wet floor is not so great. Not that it's a solution to a wet floor but it would be nice if there were a sliding door (Travato bathroom type) to protect the wardrobe doors and which could also cover the rear doors/windows. It would be an interesting design challenge but probably could be figured out.
Not too bad on features for the price. Nice walk through including hearing the generator. Still don’t want a generator for the maintenance but nice option for those who can handle it. Liked how they had the couch split. Looked like a nice sitting area for 2 people. For a single traveler they may be able to get away with using just one for the bed. The lady seemed super helpful.
The build quality has some slight niggles in the Thors, as they’re trying to crank them out so fast. But at a price point tens of thousands less than the equally-optioned Winnebago, they are selling FAST. Two more 2500 rigs spied just today, the ‘Scope’ and another one I can’t recall. Think Hymer mid bath w/poptop, and a no bath/rear lounge and poptop (a-la PleasureWay Tofino). They’re even following the Winne CS model, with lotsa post-sale contact, owners group on the website, the whole 9 yards. Interesting time for B vans!
I had just emailed someone about "quieter" generators and said no way is a generator quiet no matter what! And then I see your video... and have to eat my words! Layout is very nice too, don't mind making the bed, but I think you're right... about Winnebago quality. Be seeing you!
Just depends on your mission, if it'll work. I'm not a full-timer, and yes I would be ok with this set-up and config. Super quiet ONAN, heck yes. Thanks for posting, like how you go through the entire vehicle and explain everything. Well done!
Great video - pretty interesting to see that the current MSRP on this for the 2023 base model is now $135,000!!!! That is quite an increase over this MSRP and then the discount.
When viewers watch beds put together it is being done by someone who has never done it before. It will obviously appear to be awkward. I have made my bed over a thousand times. It takes me less than 30 seconds. 20 seconds to take down. Also: there's a difference between putting together a bed and just making it bigge. The twin mattress on the sofa is always there. You can lay down anytime you want. If you want a bigger bed you have the option. It's not all or none.
Like the rear shower and toilet. Like the seating area facing the door. Front what I can tell it would be cumbersome to go to the toilet at night with limited space to get out of bed.
The 20K would be great for a single person, the bed/coach is more or less a day bed. The only time I would pull out to a full bed, if I had an extra person traveling with me.
The build quality on this model seems a lot better than the pop-up version. Does the lithium package exclude the generator? The bed would work for me if I don't tell my wife it opens I can leave her at home. I think the Nova is still my favorite in the ProMaster.
If I was solo I'd just use the couch as my bed as is. But I travel with my girlfriend so I like the 20 L floor plan with twin beds in back. These units offer a lot though my price is in the 80k range at most. I do want the Lithium batteries. I really am thinking hard about getting the 20 L.
These Class Bs are getting more affordable. I was hoping I can find more information on the Re(Li)able Renewable Battery System if it's almost on par with the Pure3
Ginger - have you tried the couch mode that some people with Travato Gs are doing with their dinette? I tried it last week, but it really needs the addition of the Lagun table to make it a functional living/dining space, IMHO. (Impossible to see the TV that way, so Marcus Stokes did it even one better with his couch hack because he has a little digital projector for his computer and put a cloth screen down over the slider for movie night!)
Scott what do you think about this? I think in Class B there should be no kitchen so there’s more room for bathroom or for storage. Just a microwave inside is enough. When I cook it stinks up the whole van. You have a grill so why not all Class B users cook outside? If forced to cook inside can use the microwave or use a jetboil. I really think the kitchen is redundant. A portable stove would also be great. You have option for cooking indoor and out .
I think that is a great idea. What I'm learning from all the videos I've watched is priorities. What is most important in a van and how do you plan to use it. Some don't like a full time shower. I could shower outside if it was warm enough. And can cook outside. I'm used to an electric coffee maker but I could switch.
@@gosmall.livelarge Scott I see you seem interested in some of the Coachman class B vans . I know you like your Travato GL. Would you have an ideal floor plan. Was thinking about Embassy RV.
I actually like the Sequence 29K. If they would change the windows to awning style and get rid of the black tank and install a cassette toilet that would be great but I dont think that they will. Plenty of storage and love the countertop space available.
Does it have tankless on demand hot water? Insulation? Black tank flush? It does have better floor plan and fridge than the Winnebago . Nicer floor plan. How many seat belts?
Hmmm... interesting enough that I actually found the Thor webpage and looked at all the models. All very interesting variations. And so much storage space! I go nuts in the G trying to figure out where to cram things. I appreciate that saleswoman’s honesty in saying that that bed wasn’t very long. It isn’t a queen or a king. It’s barely a full: 54”x74” - but it looks a lot bigger - because the whole thing feels very roomy. I like that if you’re sleeping together on it, somebody doesn’t have to crawl over somebody to get to the bathroom at 2 AM. And unlike the Travato K, if you push the bed together, your heads aren’t up at the loo end. (I never figured how in the Travato K, we could shove the beds together and sleep without someone having to lift their legs up in the air, kicking their sleeping spouse in the process, spin 180°, and drop down with their feet in the bathroom!) And without pushing the Travato K beds together, that narrow single bed was just too narrow for a 6’2” husband who likes to toss and turn. I like it! But I think I still like the Nova better. Just a more luxe interior than those shiny cabinets a lot of manufacturers are putting in now. They look cheap and plasticky to me.
I am curious to learn if the Thor audience has been happy with the fit and finish. I get it, issues come up, but overall do you feel you are getting value with Thor quality?
So far, next to the Pleasureway Lexor TS, this floor plan would serve my needs. It appears to have more storage. I am a single senior woman 5'1" and the couch / bed configuration would work for me, EXCEPT.. I can see all of the bed pieces moving & separating with normal tossing and turning during night, super velcro AND a topper would be needed to cover the cracks between cushions. However, at this price, did it have solar and litithum ?
I'm a little late watching this video but there are some things that I like, but I still like my 2019 59K twin beds. Although I like the concept of what they did with the bed, the system seems a little clunky. I'm not sure what type of cushions are used but this set up prohibits adding any kind of mattress topper if it is uncomfortable. There are times in our Travato when it would be nice to have a seating area other than the captain seat or the bed. But I love the bath in the back.
I like the unit, especially the high gloss cabinets. The bed looks a little involved to get it ready for sleeping when you consider you also have to add sheets and blankets, unless you use a sleeping bag. I prefer a separate fridge and ice compartment, not an ice compartment within the refrigerator. Overall though, I would prefer it built on the Ford Transit chassis.
Agree. It would be nice if it were motorized to deploy/retract. I noticed that the front bed "leg" seemed a little wobbly when she was deploying the bed.
Couch/bed could be good for single traveler but building it every night and blocking the isle would become a drag . Love the generator and cabinets , open feel. Thanks for your reviews. You are a giving soul.
I would use it as a twin bed because it’s just me. Then I will take my bed roll and roll it up to one side and use it for lounging during the day like I do now.
@@girlhoney do you have this RV? I'm curious about the bed. Can one side fold down or do you have to fold both? I fulltime so I'd like to leave the section behind the driver's seat down. Nevermind, lol. She undid the bed.
I think it would work fine-there is the side table! The pull out table and the movable table...for me there would just be two of us and it could work!!
Love all the storage, quiet generator, nice television, decent size frig and bathroom in the back really opens up the space. If I was a solo traveler I might choose this over the Winnebago Solis. I'd definitely try to get show price. Only thing I don't like is the Ram Promaster chassis.
A few years back new RV we looked at all had sticker prices that were 25 percent higher than the final cost. Just wondering if manufacturers are still playing that game?
I love the idea of this setup just a little bit too much fiddling around to get the bed set up it would be so much better if it was an electric fold out or like a fold down futon
I actually like this sequence floor plan. I like the way she pulled that bed out. Now because I'm so tall my feet would have to extend in between the driver's seat and the passenger seat because I am so long and I have at least three to six inches of ankle and feet going across but I could swing that.
Nice price. Not sure I like the bed unless I used something like a sleeping bag. Having to make and break down bed each day could get old. Visions did not look too thick and it did not appear to have any special support under it to add comfort? Great starter, but I don’t see it as a full time solution or long term.
Thanks for showing this one! The bed situation is a bit too much setup for my liking. I don't mind a non-permanent table, the lagun table is fine for me!
my brain is fixed on a Class B but my body is telling me Class C. The C is for chubby. This bed takes up the whole van when extended. Thanks for the Video.
I really like this. When traveling alone I would take the back pillows off and sleep as a twin . No fuss. Just wish it came with standard lithium and 8n a shorter model. Great price at 80k.
Very nice they're finally doing something about stupid loud generators. With the small inverter generators being so quiet, it just doesn't make sense that the one bolted to the thing you're going to sleep in is louder than people yelling at each other. The floorplan isn't bad... I don't think I'd be a fan of having to convert the couch into a bed and back.. The 20L floorplan would be my preference... I'd sleep on the longer side, and pile my shit on the other side, then move my shit during the day and sit on the shorter couch side. But if I had my druthers, I'd rather have a floorplan like the Travato 59G.
As you said great innovation, but that bed has so many sections AND you have to dismantle every day AND no Volta. Thanks again for these more in depth reviews.
Did not care for bed. Like that it is open thanks to the rear bath, which I have mixed feeling about. Did you try to sit on the bed when made up as a sofa? Did your feet hit the floor?
Thx Jana. Appreciate you watching, commenting, and for being a subscriber! Tellaro and Sequence both build by Thor branded differently for two different dealers, LazyDays and General RV
For 80 k I would prefer a fixed bed, smaller bathroom space. I always feel like a bathroom sink is over kill in the small spaces. That's just me. I do like a decent size couch to lounge on.
Finally!! A floor plan for a solo traveler! Excellent! Love the interior design. I've been waiting for the RV industry to catch on to the solo traveler floor plan. Well done Thor!

Since I don't like the new travato's I'm loving this tons of storage and I wouldn't need to fold out the bed and tv across from sofa is a plus.

I am curious to learn if the Thor audience has been happy with the fit and finish. I get it, issues come up, but overall do you feel you are getting value with Thor quality?
good questions Scott
So far, next to the Pleasureway Lexor TS, this floor plan would serve my needs. It appears to have more storage. I am a single senior woman 5'1" and the couch / bed configuration would work for me, EXCEPT.. I can see all of the bed pieces moving & separating with normal tossing and turning during night, super velcro AND a topper would be needed to cover the cracks between cushions. However, at this price, did it have solar and litithum ?
No lihitum on that particular coach I don’t think.
But I love the bath in the back.
thx for sharing how you use your 59K! thanks for watching and commenting and subscribing
Thanks for sharing Gene
Great floor plan. Definitely. 👍
Was a cool floor plan. Check out the video on the Sequence 20A posting today.
I like all the drawers and storage space 👍
Awesome !
Couch/bed could be good for single traveler but building it every night and blocking the isle would become a drag . Love the generator and cabinets , open feel. Thanks for your reviews. You are a giving soul.
Thank you Stan
The pleasure way tour 2.0/2.1 and Thor Sequence are our two finalists for Class B Vans.
Good to know Alberto!
I would use it as a twin bed because it’s just me. Then I will take my bed roll and roll it up to one side and use it for lounging during the day like I do now.
Thx Sharyn for sharin’ :)
I agree. Not having a permanent bed would be a showstopper for me, as a full timer.
Agree with you
More drawers than any other van I have seen which is great but no cabinet for trash bin. love the cabinet colors and the floor.
Thx Doris
It’s nice, but why not take the wardrobe out of the bathroom and replace it with a shower
Interesting idea
No one likes moist clothes or corroded cabinet pulls. Great idea.
@@shekharmoona544 my clothing is never moist 😂 it is a pretty big cabinet though. the drawers are super spacious too.
@@girlhoney do you have this RV? I'm curious about the bed. Can one side fold down or do you have to fold both? I fulltime so I'd like to leave the section behind the driver's seat down.
Nevermind, lol. She undid the bed.
That is a shower bath ...... they did a poor job in showing the features in this model
She said it’s the new generator, is that the new ultraquiet generator from Onan? The ultraquiet is national Park approved as I understand it.
good to know. it was rather quiet inside (in a noisy environment) and rather loud outside near the van. glad she ran it for us to hear
I think it would work fine-there is the side table! The pull out table and the movable table...for me there would just be two of us and it could work!!
Good to know !!
Quiet generator is a big plus.
I prefer the 20L "Opposing Sofa" floor plan.
OK !
Love all the storage, quiet generator, nice television, decent size frig and bathroom in the back really opens up the space. If I was a solo traveler I might choose this over the Winnebago Solis. I'd definitely try to get show price. Only thing I don't like is the Ram Promaster chassis.
the generator was a pleasant surprise
A few years back new RV we looked at all had sticker prices that were 25 percent higher than the final cost. Just wondering if manufacturers are still playing that game?
They still play that game… it is called MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price)
I love the idea of this setup just a little bit too much fiddling around to get the bed set up it would be so much better if it was an electric fold out or like a fold down futon
Thx for your comment Robby
Single traveler I like it price point is good , how about winter use?
Not sure how Fourseason capable of this RV is. I will investigate further when I visit the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa in January
I have Tecnoform in my Horizon. Really fantastic cabinets, door and drawers.
Agree with you !
I actually like this sequence floor plan. I like the way she pulled that bed out. Now because I'm so tall my feet would have to extend in between the driver's seat and the passenger seat because I am so long and I have at least three to six inches of ankle and feet going across but I could swing that.
good to know
Nice price. Not sure I like the bed unless I used something like a sleeping bag. Having to make and break down bed each day could get old. Visions did not look too thick and it did not appear to have any special support under it to add comfort? Great starter, but I don’t see it as a full time solution or long term.
Thx Richard. Appreciate you watching, commenting, and for being a subscriber!
This looks better than the model you demonstrated earlier. The price is fair. Is the lithium version $99,000 at the show?
could not find the exact price on the lithium at the show
That’s ok, Scott.
I like this floor plan.
good to know
This would be perfect for me.
Is a nice floor plan
What are your thoughts about Thor’s new Scope 18M?
Got to check it out… stand by
The puzzle bed.....don't think so.
Thx Glen
Thanks for showing this one! The bed situation is a bit too much setup for my liking. I don't mind a non-permanent table, the lagun table is fine for me!
Glad it was helpful!
my brain is fixed on a Class B but my body is telling me Class C. The C is for chubby. This bed takes up the whole van when extended. Thanks for the Video.
Hi Danny D
I like it! Lots of drawers for storage.
for sure !
Interesting floor plan.thanks for another great video. 😊
Lidia… Our pleasure!
Love the frig and stove , nice music with your video thanks for showing it
Hey K3... thanks for taking time to comment... first time maybe?!
I really like this. When traveling alone I would take the back pillows off and sleep as a twin . No fuss. Just wish it came with standard lithium and 8n a shorter model. Great price at 80k.
Yes Karen... Would be great to have on the road enjoying your van life !
A foot shorter than a Travato. But they make good use of that space. Only 1000 watts inverter. Excellent price.
Right ?!
I'D buy this. all you need is a regulary job, some connection for getting fresh water and probably pay like 400 month paying this off and live in it.
Great points James
Forgot microwave “convection” love the big fridge!
Hi Ron
Very nice they're finally doing something about stupid loud generators. With the small inverter generators being so quiet, it just doesn't make sense that the one bolted to the thing you're going to sleep in is louder than people yelling at each other.
The floorplan isn't bad... I don't think I'd be a fan of having to convert the couch into a bed and back.. The 20L floorplan would be my preference... I'd sleep on the longer side, and pile my shit on the other side, then move my shit during the day and sit on the shorter couch side. But if I had my druthers, I'd rather have a floorplan like the Travato 59G.
Thx for sharing
As you said great innovation, but that bed has so many sections AND you have to dismantle every day AND no Volta. Thanks again for these more in depth reviews.
You’re welcome !
Just not sure about that bed. I am liking all the rear bathrooms though
cool
I love that model.
It was kinda cool right?!
The price is a showstopper, maybe fix up the shortcomings for value prop.
Interesting point Carl
I really like your review style!
L M... Glad to hear it!
Great job, Scott!
thx!!
I wonder about the maintenance on those shades when they wear out.
Okay!
Love it!!!
sweet !
The price is my favorite thing
Indeed !
Did not care for bed. Like that it is open thanks to the rear bath, which I have mixed feeling about. Did you try to sit on the bed when made up as a sofa? Did your feet hit the floor?
Can’t remember if I sat on it or not. sorry...
Same as the Tellaro 20 KT so this would work for me. I wouldn't need to extend the couch coz it's just me. Just wish I had the 80K to get me one.
Thx Jana. Appreciate you watching, commenting, and for being a subscriber! Tellaro and Sequence both build by Thor branded differently for two different dealers, LazyDays and General RV
Great storage space not sure of the bed. Thank you Scott for showing this Rv.
YW Sherri
It looks like great fun. Is it available in all weather 4X 4?
Not that I know of since it is based on a Promaster. no 4x4 on the ram van. thanks for watching and commenting
No Storage for garage items....you can have it....
Garage storage is important to many
Interesting and different. I like it.
Glad you like it!
For 80 k I would prefer a fixed bed, smaller bathroom space. I always feel like a bathroom sink is over kill in the small spaces. That's just me. I do like a decent size couch to lounge on.
Thx for sharing Sue
