- How to replace temperature sensor for Mercedes-Benz E-Class with the OM651 engine.
Broken temperature sensor 1 B19/11 (upstream of turbocharger) A 000 905 64 04 gave check engine light at cluster and also took down the power while driving the car so is kinda important to change this sensor when it fails. Close to this sensor at catalytic converter is also a lambda sensor A 007 542 16 18 and another temperature sensor A 000 905 35 05, also not showed in video is one more temperature sensor under the catalytic converter A 000 905 68 04.
Further down is also the common NOX sensor front A 000 905 36 03 rear A 000 905 34 03 access for them is under the car one in the front and one in the rear. The mass air flow sensor seen at (1:20) also quite common fault, check engine light and car losing lot of power, had that issue before and then I just removed it and clean the inside and reset fault code and car rocking as normal. Is not needed to remove filter housing for that but is more easy to access the screws for it.
Using the Elite Benz fault code reader from launch to troubleshot this issue and find the faulty sensor.
This sensor gave following fault codes
- P054615
Temperature sensor 1 "Exhaust system" (cylinder bank 1)
has a short circuit to positive. There is a short circuit to
positive or an open circuit.
- P208027
Temperature sensor 1 "Exhaust system" (cylinder bank 1)
has a malfunction. The signal change rate is above the
permissible limit value.

I own a W212 e180 2015 mercedes, I have a question, I would appreciate it if you could answer it, there is a constant speed misfire problem at 1500 2000 rpm, the spark plugs were changed 2 years ago, where should I look for the problem, can I diagnose it myself What is the priority of the coil or injector, regards
@MB212 do you know what would cause a shivering for about 10 minutes after a cold start. It feels like a rough idle but revs don't fluctuate that much. But you feel the engine surging. Only ever on a cold start and disappears after 10-15 mins?
any ideas where the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit High Bank 1 Sensor 4 is located ? P247115 Trouble code ....would the sensor next to the LAMBA sensor be the B19/7 UPSTREAM CATALYTIC CONVERTER TEMPERATUR SENSOR ? ta

Mate, did you spray anything on that nut brfore remoing it? Ive got the same issue on an e250cdi w212 om651, and can not get the nut to release
No spray what I remember, sometimes lucky with these but usually need some torch to blast them enough to loose them.

Can I just cut the old sensor harness wire, instead of removing other parts to slide out old sensor?

I have not try that but for my understanding it should work like that!
So far this is the best Benz scanner I have try to to have on the go for fast fault search and other things.

Haha yess crazy how much sensor and things for newer diesel, lot of money and lot of headaches with all these.
I have glk 250 2013 stage 1, and i have a problem top speed, it goes 170km and loses power, the engine revs max 3000rpm
Who can help me with this problem?!!!
Is hard to say, I would start with a fault code reader and check what could cause it!
