    Good Vid! I have 60hp Yamaha 2006 4 stroke. - starter is finicky, think it may be solenoid for me but watching this is helpful gonna save me some time investigating! ...Standing by for part II !!!

    I had the same problem on my 150 hp, it turned out to be a small relay before the starter and solenoid. You can replace with after mkt. for about $70. Starts every time now.

      @@Terry-HandPanHowe It's a small part with 2 wires, easy to replace. It's called a Starter Relay. I lost the part number.

      Hey there - thanks for asking. I did film a Part 2 which still needs to be edited and posted. Spoiler Alert - it appears the issue isn’t the starter but perhaps the wiring or ignition switch. Will try to find the time to finish this up properly.
