Thank you for this lovely vlog. I used to watch Kalanggaman from afar in the mainland of Palompon,Leyte way back in high school. I haven't been there since I moved to Manila in college. It used to be a place to dry fish esp.danggit. Cebu once claimed it as part of their territory but our town,won the court case & got it back, developed & protected it for sustainable tourism. I think visitors are limited to a max of 500 a day.

Binge watching your vlogs guys. A new fan here. Been to kalanggaman with my college friends and it was just so awesome. Spent the night there and the sunset was incredible and at night the ocean was bright because of the reflection of the moon. It was just so umforgettable because it's just so peaceful. I remembered when i do my photos at the end of the sand bar then suddenly big droplets of rain fell. Hahahaha i had to run to the huts like panic mode since i needed to cover all.my gears just imagine how far the sandbar before reaching the main island hahaha memories!!!

Please head to Calbayog to see Tarangban Falls, Malajog Zipline and explore the chill vibes of Calbayog. There is an archeological musuem in Calbayog, too. Its just 4 hrs from Tacloban. Calbayog is in Samar. Cross the longest bridge in the Philippines--San Juanico Bridge.
Explore Leyte and Samar and start with adventure in Padre Burgos, So. Leyte. You can also stay overnight at Kalanggaman if you visit Palompon tourism office at Jetti resort. Cuatro isla and Canigao Island are worth visiting too and diving at Padre Burgos, Leyte is amazing as it is one of the top ten dive sites in the country.

Thats the best Island in the universe ❤️ Our experience going back to Malapascua was not easy because of the heavy rain and the wind. The waves were so strong and our boat got broken 😢Though our experience was not east but still, Kalanggaman island is no joke its incredibly beautiful ❤️❤️

Philippines Island beaches are insanely, wonderfully magnificent, probably most of them the best in the world. Philippines is truly the Pearl of the Orient worth to mention that the two biggest pearl discoveries in the world are in the Philippines.
_kalanggaman_ is pronounced as *cull • lung • gum • man* _langgam_ (lung • gum) in _bisiya_ means bird from an aerial view (during summer), the contour or shape of the island would appear as a *flightless bird* the island is much closer to leyte than cebu ~•~ btw, your drone shots of the island were truly spectacular its sugary, powdery sand + turquoise water were truly magnetic
You should come and visit Tacloban were the super typhoon hayian the worlds strongest typhoon landed and killed thousands and thousand of people. Experience our night life, our food, and the hospitality of our people here.
You should have gone to Digyo a bit further down the coast. It doesn’t cost anything compared to Calanggaman and looks almost the same. Personally I much prefer Digyo

Amazing island paradise in Leyte! You can visit "Cuatro islas" too in Leyte. There's a boat tour from Inopacan to visit that 4 islands. 😉

PADI license is a must in your case. get at least an advance open water to go deep diving.

I think Kalanggaman Island has the best sandbar Ive been to here in the Philippines. We spent 1 night there and it was great!
