- やった！Yay! Here it is, my first full length guitar cover :-)
With this video, I’ve tried pay tribute to two great artists, Utada Hikaru and Sheena Ringo. Actually, this song is special to me because it is the one that made me discover Sheena Ringo’s music a few years ago…
This is my longest and most challenging project so far but it’s been very fun and interesting to build from scratch. It got me to look into drum programming, I had to figure out and adapt the bass line to my beginner bass playing level and of course, I had to come up with guitar tones that could fit the two vocal parts. For Utada Hikaru, I chose a warm and jazzy Gibson Les Paul tone. For Sheena Ringo, I went for a crunchier, higher pitched tone using a Fender Stratocaster.
As for the graphical design, I was helped by young Instagram artist egakkou_ who created original digital art for this video (thank you!!!).

This is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite Utada's songs (and the video is amazing as well) covered fully for guitar! I wish there would be some tabs because I definitely want to try to cover it myself. Thank you so much for this and great job!! I love it!
Thank you very much for your comment, much appreciated! I don't have tabs for the whole song and I mostly worked by ear, from the chords. However, the tabs for the intro can be found on ultimate-guitar
