Nice plane. I'd say getting the CG on the Flex RV8 is pretty easy too. And has the biggest hatch I've seen.

balsa ARF planes , I have several types, Pheonix models, Nexa ,VQ Sig, etc. give them a try it will challenge you.
I have had a few in the past but I still prefer foamies.

How many coats of polycrylic did you apply?
About 2, I applied it thick.
