    There are quite a few new 900 Global balls out. I personally like the EON. Can you do a ball review video? Thanks a lot! Love the channel by they way. Great reviews!!

    I have a sigma sting with a ton of games on it. Its 3 years old and been drilled twice now. It's still my go to on most house patterns. I'm thinking about getting the blade to replace it. Looks good to me

      Brad Harter I wish they didn’t retire the sting, that’s a good one

      Well this one can pretty much replace the sigma sting, especially as the Rogue Blade lane shines. The very small difference we saw between the 2 balls is likely due to having the Sting for a while and the cover is lane shined so just a touch cleaner. But I actually think the Sting was pretty usable on sport, more so than the Rogue Blade. So the chemistry might be different enough on sport to tell the difference there but not on house. I'll keep using it and over time I will get a better idea.

      Thanks for the advice. I'll likely end up getting one just based on my experience with the sting. If they are that close at least I know I'm getting something I'll like

      What are your thoughts on sigma sting vs rogue blade after a bit more use?

    • @Stargazer804
      @Stargazer804 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After about 30 games or so the blade is still just a tad smoother than the sting. Other than that it's not much different which in my opinion is a very good thing

    I love your reviews, hands down better than of the original manufactoror. When can we expect a revieuw of Hydra bowling ball? Or is that one being skipped?

    For a typical house shot, is this a good step down from the jackal rising?

  • @josephrivera2721

    How does this compare to the original hyroad?

    i recently got introduced to motiv and fell in love with the Hydra what would be a good option from motiv for a benchmark or step up from the hydra? i have a 550 RPM 18mph and low axis tilt.

      @TamerBowling  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sosa lmll you have a few option. I think the rogue blade is a good benchmark option if you are familiar with the roll coming out of storm or ebi family. Many will suggest the venom line. The venom shock is probably the truest benchmark motiv has. It’s very smooth and predictable but it’s not as big left to right as the blade. So you can decide which direction to go.

    • @Life91938
      @Life91938 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah ok thank you for the quick response. Would it make sense to get both the rogue blade and venom shock solid? I only throw hammer and track so very familiar with the ebi family roll

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sosa lmll if you’re going all motiv, then yes. Those 3 would give you a pretty well rounded arsenal.

    been needing a ball thats between my motiv villain and venom shock. would this fit that want or should i get like a venom shock pearl or lethal paranoia? been getting alot of weak hits with my venom shock solid so im having to play very deep to keep bowling on a typical house shot.

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      stratrat619 I think this is the best option from those you mentioned.

    • @stratrat619

      @@josephstaton8282 I own it and love it being slightly slower than most bowlers I go more up the back so its smoother for me

    Hows this compared to the villian

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are actually pretty similar in board coverage on typical house but the Villain has a bit more of a hook set motion so one may look better then the other depending on the condition and how they are playing that night. The Villain builds on the old Cruel C51 and that was a house shot killer. I also think the Villain can probably get more play on tougher patterns than the Rogue Blade. I don't see the Villain as far left in their ball resource chart. It's more angular than they are giving it credit in my opinion.

    • @chrispatrick9086
      @chrispatrick9086 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree completely with the statements on the villain. I throw all Motiv and the ball chart is the last thing I use to gauge reaction before buying. My Forza SS outhooks my villain with a more symmetric shape but my villain can be very angular especially on sport conditions until I take it to 2k. It stores a lot of energy downlane. I see myself using the rogue more on house shots as unless I put enough surface to blend the reaction it would come off the back of the pattern too sharp. The Villain is a very versatile ball and responds really well to surface alterations.

      Christopher Patrick i have thr villian right now and when the oil starts breaking down i dont have a weaker ball what should i get to fill the spot

    • @chrispatrick9086
      @chrispatrick9086 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      At nationals I went from the Villain to my Venom shock pearl. I find with the Venom shock pearl keeping the shine off the cover really smoothes out the reaction and blends the front/back. It then goes from being a bit touchy downlane to getting enough midlane read to make a nice controlled turn on the back. You may also find the Rogue Blade a step down but I don't have enough experience with that cover to add my two cents on that release yet. Keep in mind Motiv covers tend to be a bit strong especially before they settle in with a few games. Hope that helps you a bit.

      Christopher Patrick i was thinking about VSP but now debating on this one

  • @gusk

    I am thinking about getting this ball, would this fit into my arsenal. I now have the Primal Fear (sanded with 2000 grid) Venom Cobra (sanded 3000)
    Also have a DV8 Hell Raiser Revenge (OOB) and a Track 718A (OOB)

    • @gusk
      @gusk 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      PS i have about 275-300 revs and my launch speed (according to specto) is around 18.5-19 mph

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gus K the rogue should fit between the primal and venom.

    • @gusk
      @gusk 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      But would it be a good benchmark ball, or would the Hydra fit better as benchmark and get the rogue later as well

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gus K which one of your balls is your current benchmark?

    • @gusk
      @gusk 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can't really say i have a benchmark ball. I have Primal, Venom, Hell Raiser Revenge and my old Track 718A. I guess my Venom comes closest to benchmark, since it's the one i can use on most patterns

    I find it unfair you tested the sport shot for this ball on basically the us open shot, the red square is flat with a 1:1 ratio, it is a very hard shot and will punish you for a 1 board miss either inside or outside, not saying you are bad bowlers but it is a very hard shot

  • @GraduatedIn
    @GraduatedIn 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice

  • @RRBuilder611

    Red square is not even fair to test on lol. You have basically no miss room at all

      I know right ! For my sport shot league they had this pattern out but they said it was U.S. open, and it is.
