That is actually the older packaging of Warm Vanilla Sugar, a new one literally just came out! So maybe it’s more concentrated because the vanilla extract has been sitting and getting richer over the past year

Japanese Cherry Blossom was out in 2008. I had the wallflowers and was wearing it when I was in a near fatal car accident. It’s very strong and long lasting, the scent stayed with me for weeks in the hospital. Then when I came home and opened the door to my house and smelled the wallflowers I swear I had PTSD from it.
I love Poppy, it has a perfume quality to it.

I actually found this during SAS at Bath and Body Works the other day and I've been layering it with Beautiful Day since they had some similar notes and it's very clean and fresh and it brightens it up a little bit for me!
The packaging of warm vanilla sugar that you have in this video is the best formulation they've put out in recent years for warm vanilla sugar.

The first number on the bottom is the year and the next three numbers are the day of the year it was birthed. So 2300 would be the 300th day of 2022 for example.

Lol, your video came out right after I had a similar experience with Japanese cherry blossom. I never liked it but I recently went into the store and smelled it again and I ended up getting a spray. By the way layering the new cinnamon sandalwood lotion with Japanese cherry blossom is amazing!

Ksenja I like Japanese cherry blossom, it is definitely an OG. I just got a lotion and hand sanitizer of that scent, still smells good to me. I just picked up denim and daisies and lakeside citrus, now when I smelled denim and daisies in the store I liked it now I don't ~it doesn't do well on my skin & I like lakeside citrus that one smells good but it doesn't last long on me.

re: bruise on your arm, i have the same problem with my thyroid and bruising so I always ask the lab tech to use the needle for kids (one that looks like a butterfly); btw - love your videos esp mist/perfume dupes 😊
I’m pretty sure JCB is their top seller. I think it appeals less to the younger crowd because it’s a more floral powdery one, and historically the older generation grew up with those types of scents.
I actually like this one though. Especially after smelling winter cherry blossom it sparked my interest. Also I feel like JCB smells like the beginning of y2k 😂
Thank you Ksenja. Loved this video. Japanese Cherry Blossom is my favorite scent from there. Also Rose and French Lavender Honey. All in the body lotions. My former friend introduced me to JCB and the store itself in the 2000s. She does not like JCB, if I remember correctly, so she gave me hers and I fell in love. She liked it on me too. Buuuuuuuut, I am allergic to my fav scent, so I can only wear it in colder months as a body lotion when I'm layered up, lol. I currently have Japanese Cherry Blossom in the shower body scrub and its PERFECT!! 😄😄🌸

I wish I picked Summer Melody up when it was on sale. I liked it a lot. I think the name deterred me. It has a warmth to it that shouldn’t have the word “summer” in its name. I’ve found that the name really matters for me.
Last year I didn’t like You’re The One at all, but I sprayed it on real fast running out the door the other day and now I love it! So weird how that works.
I like warm vanilla sugar, I don't know if it's cause they watered it down or if it's just ones those fragrances that are light that it becomes hard or nonexistent to smell. When I bought the candle I was more impressed with it then the actual body care. I bought the newest release/repackaged version of it and it seems to smell sweeter and stronger.
Back in the day I layered the OG Warm Vanilla Sugar w Sensual Amber and it was delicious. I bypassed WVS in the recent sale and now I am sad. :(

This is hilarious! Warm Vanilla Sugar was the only mist I had returned because it was very weak and didn’t really smell like anything. I ordered about 10 different mists during that $4.95 sale and kept them all except this one. 🤔 😆

I was also surprised by how much I loved Summer Melody. That honeydew note is unique, especially mixed with vanilla.
I guess I missed the heyday of Warm Vanilla Sugar. It’s always smelled like vanilla extract sprinkled on cardboard to me. And so light that I can barely detect that.
I have to tell you that I wore JCB years ago. I liked it but I got so sick of it. It smelled so generic and childish to me. Everyone wore it. Well I thought the bottle was gorgeous so I tried it as well and I was blown away! It smells so different than I remember! This smells sweet and creamy and mature and fresh. I totally agree with you! I thought I was the only who thought it smells completely different now!
They just got a re-package of warm vanilla sugar I have never liked warm vanilla sugar because I never thought there was anything warm about it it’s a floral vanilla however this year with the brand new packaging I actually love it I’ve already gone through one whole bottle working on bottle number two which is half gone I just don’t like the cream of the lotion or the body butter I don’t like anything else and it just spray but I think they get all right this time
I never liked warm vanilla sugar, to my nose it just smells like weird old milk 😅 but that’s just me! I just got a mini spray of marshmallow pumpkin latte and I feel like the smell is different this year, like they put more emphasis on the pumpkin note. It’s not bad it just seems different
Commenting a little late, (you know how it is sometimes 😅) but I have the complete opposite experience with Japanese Cherry Blossom! I think it was the first, if not one of the first, BBW fragrances I wore as a young child. I remember my mom bought me a travel body wash and lotion of it I used to death. But now that I'm older, honestly I can't stand the smell of it! I feel like every time I go into the store and try to like the smell again but I just dislike it the more each time. That being said I don't think it's a bad fragrance it's just not for me anymore

My furry babies are now 3,5yo. One crossed the rainbow bridge very young. Her name was Artemisia Nyx, Arty for short. She was the sweetest, cuddliest, funny little star). My two 3year- olds are both boys. The oldest by 5wks is Minós Apollo (Minós or Nossy) and his 'brother from another mother ' is Alexi Hermes (Lexi). I don't know if your name is referring to sth specific and/or has a reason, but mine are all named after historically important/well known Ancient Greek Kings/Queens / Emperors and an ancient mythological Greek god that suits their colouring and funnily enough their character too.
(And yes, I have a BA & MA in history haha. I also studied in Greece, Crete for a semester. Minós is named after the first king of The Minoans -Minoan Empire - the one who built and lived at Knossos Palace near Iraklio, Crete. Alexi is named after Alexander the Great. Guilty : Huge Grecophile.😁)

And everyone seems to ask if I studied history and/or love Greece when they hear their names, so I sort of automatically provided. As for the name of your sweet girl, I didn't know that perfume brand, but now - since that's actually why we're here, haha - I'm eager to Google it. L’Occitane Cherry Blossom is my favorite for spring and summer and is a gorgeous scent! The lotion on its own even smells amazing and lasts.

Hi! Actually when they travels or transported those perfume that happens. But you have to rest like a week or so.. the smell of the perfume will be back on its original. It happens alot to me..

I was wondering if you've ever smelled pr had the taylor swift wonderstruck perfumes. I used to keep the purple one but one day I came across the red one enchanted in tjmax for $7. I bought it and fell in love and now I can't find it for less then $80 for a tiny bottle! 😭 one of the dupes that was recommended when I looked it up was dolce&Gabbana por femme. So if you have any opinions on por femme please let me know I found a full bottle for $60 and I would have to blind buy it.

My bottle of poppy has a green sprayer straw/tube so it looks like the stem of the poppy flower. I thought it was a cute/unique design. Your sprayer straw/tube looks clear - so weird how much things can vary within this company haha. Poppy definitely reminded me of an Escada scent - very fruity not groundbreaking

A thousand wishes body spray from 2018-19 the red bottle was so strong and lasted for days and was my signature scent! Then they changed the formula & packaging to pink and smelled like a different body spray from 2021 was not as strong now they changed the formula again and it's sooo weak and smells like nothing!
I do hope they bring back the original strong scent 🙏
My first ever Bath&Body Works was Carried Away. Aaah I wish I can send the pic here. It was a gorgeous shimmer blueish mist with a very sweet yet powdery scent... so gorgeous and beautiful to look at and smell. Then in 2020 ish I smell the new version and to me, it smells nothing like the original one. very sharp flowery note, an instant headache to me.. hiks... so sad
Whoa 🤯 you just took me back to my teenage years. I would have forgotten about that scent - well, I did but my goodness. I can literally smell it. It was one of my first body sprays as well. My sister is the same as you. She can remember smells, songs, people from the forgotten years. Thanks for the scent memory 😊

@Ksenja you often say "I reach for it a lot." but knowing how many fragrances you have that's so difficult to envision (I mean, I have around 50, going on 60 + and know how hard It is to make a dent w/ that many ). Could you perhaps do a video like "Ksenja's perfume week " where you share what you wore each day of that week to work/ grocery shopping /bed/date night. If that's too much work, you could also rehash the tag #Showyourdents to let us know which fragrances, including the mists, currently have a dent. But... I do prefer the first because it also shows which scents are better suited to which occassion.
PS . I have heard it say plenty times but I just can't get over the fact you can actually return *opened* fragrances in the USA. You guys don't realise how unique that is & how lucky that makes you.

In my opinion, vanilla bean noel is better and more vanillary than warm vanilla sugar. (Inadvertently created a tongue twister here lol)
Some may argue that it is a dupe for tihota-indult (which is a very popular vanilla perfume) and it is the closest I've ever smelled to natural vanilla.(cuz most of the vanilla body mists and perfumes these days smell like cake batter or ice cream)

Poppy was around years ago. I think it’s been about 10 years.
I was in middle school in the early 2000s (1999-2002) & Japanese Cherry blossom was a thing back then. I hated it so much.
I just picked up warm vanilla sugar to try again. I don’t think I love it. It smells very artificial and plastic-y to my nose. I’m hoping to find something a little less artificial vanilla soon!
A lot of times I've smelled bbw and decided against some scents, just to try them later and was like..."Wow! I almost missed out!"

I've tried several stores n purchased different years and I still can't smell warm vanilla sugar.
I was disappointed I could just barely smell Enchanted Candy Potion. Love the name and the packaging and can’t smell it! If they made a lotion, maybe layering would help but they don’t, yet. 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I’m noticing their newer scents don’t last as long. I put on the new midnight amber and it barely last 30 minutes. Even the perfume. Forget the bonfire bash this year. The cream has no smell at all and the spray doesn’t last. 🙄 increase prices, decreased quality. Just like Chanel. 😂
Basically like every single designer & niche perfume . . . I used to never buy dupes, feeling as if I was duping the creators, buying knockoffs. Well, after the umpteenth designer fragrance barely lasted an hour on me, my family or friends while having to save up for a year to buy it I went full on Zara! Applejuice costs me €10,95 for 90ml and lasts longer than the Chanel ! Polish brand La Rive and Greek brand Tommy G are next on my Dupe House to try - list. Oh, and I'm looking into the Arabian perfume houses too. Quite often their scents cost between €20-30 and last all day (well maybe not on my perfume eating skin, but they'll definitely deliver. )
For me i wanna return my bottle at the store i ordered online but its to weak like watered down i can use it possibly for layering but i can hardly smell it. Or heck give it to my 10 yearold lol

JCB to me smells like a cheap antiseptic that we get here at the drugstore. It's not even about scent memory, it's just an unpleasant scent to my nose.
That packaging of WVS smells like pure alcohol with a hint of vanilla. Literally lasts like 2 minutes😒
