If we see last two years financial statement nothing seems wrong then what the internal and external auditors were doing ? How these things didn't come to their notice? Or they were also managed by management? If yes then its more serious than fraud

In my opinion they do window dressing and window dressing is fraud and mislead a investor as per audit define this concept
Actually these scams are being discovered off late majorly due to rotation of auditors after updated Companies act, earlier auditors were hand in glove with companies, and now these scams are being discovered by new auditors

First of all very good case study. So many questions...Who is responsible for this? Why RBI so late in reacting? What auditor were doing when they were manipulating balance sheet? Logo ki zindagi bhar ki kamai koi aise misuse kaise kar Sakta hai? Kitne or scam abhi dekhna baki hai. Jis desh ka PURA system hi corrupt ho isme Nyay Milne ki asha bhi koi kaise rakhe?
not because people started forming a queue outside the bank to withdraw money drawed RBI attention,but the one of the branch manager who was involved in 8 member panel of HDIL loan case ,send a letter a to RBI about details of manipulation of the bank,because of conflict of interest between them & later that evening other members also agreed & sought RBI approval to undo that mistake
