Nice show there governor... Now. Modern times building ? Ill stick with cover all simular to sinkanight buturate thiner & dope for covering..because iam an old fashion type of guy & want to preserve my models for many years...!!!
Very kewl! Will play catch-up on the last few installments of the P-40 build and looking forward to these. I think you, Michael and Andrew are the only things keeping me from giving away all my planes that have yet to be built. Was going to send my Nosen C-310 to Bayonne last year. Then I calculated the shipping 😳 Y’all are keeping the dream alive.
This is awesome... I could have not clicked on this video any quicker.. as soon as i seen the thumbnail that was it...Wow different wings this should be interesting...Going to be a bit different setting up that tube and pin that hold the top wing on...
I had one of these. My friend built it and he was is expert. Watch out for the control horns and pushrods on elevators. The pushrods have long unsupported run when leave fuse out back. They can flex terribly preventing needed up elevator leading to catastrophe! Suggest mounting servos in tail with short pushrods and metal horns. Good luck!
I did too. Lol. I did the right leading edge as well, but only soaked it for about 5 minutes. I just kept bending the center of the sheet slowly under water. Turned out nicer than the first one.
I’ve had this kit for over ten years. Found it on eBay, back when you could still get them for around $200. Not sure if anyone is cutting this kit yet, but I’ll bet someone will once my build series starts. It’ll be good advertising for them I’d guess. These are very popular birds. I’ve built several.
LOVE THIS BIRD YS. 120 GOT 3 of them.. FLY GREAT!!!!!
Oh yeah! I’ll be using a DLE 20RA in this build.
Yep have had 3. Wish I had another
Man I wish you lived close !
Another one of my favorite planes .
Dude, I had one of these a long, long time ago. Cool.
Me too. Lol

Thanks. Get them kits out, and start building. We need to spark the interests of a new generation of builders.
Awesome! Can't wait to see this wing go together.
Thanks! Me too, but after the P-40 is finished. This is a teaser trailer. Lol

I’m always thinking about the next project. I’ve got quite a list. Problem I have is what order. Lol
Nice work. I’m following along!
Thanks! I won’t be continuing the Ultimate till my P-40 is finished, but it won’t be too long.

This isn’t my first Ultimate. I’ve built several. I usually mount the elevator servo in the tail. Mainly for balance. Thanks for the tip though.
Frank, I love flying and building rc planes
Good to hear. Keep the hobby alive.
Looks like a GlowForge may be good for you
Yeah, it’s a bit out of my price range, but it would be cool to try out.
Me too like 30 years ago?? I’ve got a full kit to build now.
It’s time to build it. 👍👍🤙
I REALLY THOUGHT THAT LEADING EDGE WAS GOING TO BREAK GOOD GOB 👍

Where did you get the kit? IS there someone who’s cutting this kit still?
