Hummmm. You would need multiple hooks to secure the buckles. Then you would need to divide the warps between the two. Since there’s an odd number of warps I’m not entirely sure how to do that. I’m afraid that I don’t know anyone who does English style girths. It would have to be something that I’d have to experiment with.
Hummmmm...Probably about 39'. That's end of buckle to end of buckle = 26". You need 47' for a 32" cinch. Of course, the amount varies from person to person depending on how tight you warp it up. I like to error on the long side as you can't piece on another piece.

Because it has to stretch between the buckles one more time than the other end. That makes it an odd number of warps.

Is there a difference of the way you start a 17 strand versus a 19 strand cinch.
They are both woven the same way. Only try to find a wider buckle for the 19 strand. Sometimes you can find a 3 1/2" buckle if you search!
How much warp did you use for this 16 inch cinch please?
You need approx. 47' for a 32" cinch so for the 16" you would need approx. half that amount or 24". Keep in mind all measurements are estimates.
