So why change from the ft101 to the kenwood?
Wanted more buttons and knobs, love the TS-990. Its much more enjoyable to operate than the FTDX101, to me at least.
Now days I afraid to buy Kenwood because they don't build ham radio these days
Lets hope, because every time the rumors start about Kenwood getting out of armature radio, they come out with new gear!
KenwoodJVC is still active, last September 26th 2023 the TS990 did even get new firmware out. Got that on my webpage explained.The guys from Japan are not done with the TS990, this beast will never die. 😉 73s Sascha PF9Z
