Just gonna add the correct explanation to why you can use the painters effs under skill drain, skill drain negates effects on field and allows you to pay the cost of said effects, so as every effect that the painters gain from the canvas banishes for cost they will not be on the field by the point of resolution which dodges skill drain
Snow will not dodge Ash blossom even if it is chained to snow , since ash does not require the card to stay on field , it will however dodge Imperm since imperm requires a target on board to negate.
I know this is old, but Snow doesn't dodge Imperm. Imperm will negate the original effect to set, like it negates any effect on the board, even if the card is somewhere else at resolution. It does dodge Veiler though.
I alwYs play thunder canvas at center. It has more target then. 21:42 that is better. And dont forget that rainbow canvas can trade a monster in the other colums to get another one in the link zone for a possible 4th negate
@@Cataporium I WOULD REMOVE A COPY OF THE SNOWY CANVAS, ONE COPY OF EXTRAVAGANCE AND DEFINITELY TERRAFORMING, THIS CARD IS NOT NECESSARY. IF YOU CAN CHANGE EXTRAVAGANCE FOR PROSPERITY IT IS BETTER.
It’s definitely a middling tier rogue strategy however it is able to contend with and cut off a lot of grave heavy strategies and those who can’t play through a lot of negations or have specific choke points
You are correct, but the deck NEEDS both a Painter and a good Canvas to do anything turn 1 so we need to either play 3 Prosperity or max out on cheaper options.
Just played this deck on MD and it was annoying as fuck since the guy just kept summoning the cards over and over from the banished zone so I looked it up. I still beat him though
Yeah the deck is good for attrition but it really lacks power. Thus why it will never compete unless Konami boost it in some way. Such a shame for a fun playstyle.

That is incorrect since the cost of the effect is to leave the field. This works in master duel if you are still unsure.
The only effect that don't work are the monster main effects like snows search thunder search and others.

Snow “places” it just like how Rite of Aramesir does so it can’t be ash’d

Not really you cant consistantly draw full combo cause its 2 cards at least. But you can totally top locals.
