I’m finding it difficult to break minimum wage, and am even turning it into a game for myself. Averaging about 60% of minimum wage. Plus the app really puts the pressure on the shopper, while paying us less than minimum wage. I thought Lyft was bad but Instacart is worse, and just way more stressful. Customers can eliminate a tip after offering it. I think Instacart needs to give shoppers at least minimum wage for once a shopper logs an hour of shopping if they’re hitting the estimated shopping and delivery time.
Early bird gets the worm. You need to check your peak time hours times through out the week. Sundays are the highest/busiest days for me. I don't shop anything under $10 unless I need something from that store. Also always check to see how far their house is and how far you are from the store to make sure it's worth it before you accept the batch. Use your app resources for your gas, car maintenance, etc.
That's crazy because I signed up to be a driver and been place on a waiting list for half a year now but I decided to order through instacart place the order at 8àm payed priority plus service fee plus delivery fee and almost a 6 dollar tip on an order that cost 40 dollar and was mostly veggies. 1pm comes around the girl is slowly adding groceries to my cart she is shopping multiple order. I never got my food had to get a refund. Never using instacart again. More upset with myself that I could had drive to the store just down the street but I wanted to avoid leaving the house that day as we're currently going through a bomb cycle of rain
I ultimately decided to use part of the budget I would have spent on luxury bags to purchase high-quality replica bags and donate the other part to charities I care about. kislux conveniently allows me to do this, which not only meets my own fashion needs, but also makes me feel the joy of helping others.

Never drive 20 miles unless its alot of money, and also deliver alcohol. You'll get more batches
I signed up for instacart a week ago.
I am not sure what it will be like on weekdays here in Northeast Philadelphia
