Nothing beats un-boxing a new Rolex. Im privileged enough to have experienced it with my two tone bluesy sub I purchased last year. Wear it in good health my friend 🙌🏽

I have owned a Sub over the last 30+ years. I can comfortably say the latest/updated Sub41 is the pinnacle of the Submariner line. It’s that good. Rolex corrected all the little issues of the previous ceramic Sub now making the “12 series” aka Sub41 a masterpiece and direct linkage to the 5 digit Submariners. It will be a modern Rolex legend and enormously popular. I suspect it will be extremely hard to get and a Rolex model that actually lives up to the hype.

For 10 years i had the 116610. Now have the 126610 but can`t get use to it. Love the pevious watch. Th enew one bracelot does not feel comfortabe.

I used to say my 16600 SeaDweller was the best because you got 4 times the depth rating and all you have to give up is the cyclops on the date. Ever since the moved the Sea Dweller and Deep Sea (which I also have) in a the 43mm & 44mm sizes, I may have to agree with the Submariner being the perfect size

Beautiful watch, I happen to be in quite a predicament myself, I cannot buy i piece like this because i don't have a long buying history with Rolex but i also cant make one because i cant buy the pieces i want... I did just buy myself a Datejust 41 but other than that I'm not very interested in anything else but the GMT models and the Submairner.
What a watch! the 126610LN in my opinion is more well-proportioned than its predecessor (116610LN). The lugs are more elegant, and I love how they implemented the crown between "SWISS" and "MADE". I own neither of the two, but hope to do one day. I have heard some people say that they can hear the rotor on this model, whereas you could not on the previous model; is this true?

I have a DateJust with the same movement and have never heard anything.
@@rickjason215 I don't think the issue is with the movement, but rather about the case. It's a great upgrade by the way. 70 hours power reserve is a huge uplift.
@@0045thomas The rotor would make the buzzing sound. I have 2 Rolexes. One is about 14 years old and a brand new one. Neither makes a sound. The Sub has a thicker more insulated case than my DateJust and noises should be more muffled.

Rolex sub ist just perfect regarding proportions, size and technical specs.
How many full link did your watch come with? Including the non removable ones? My came with 11, but I have heard it come with 12 or 13…

I have last model 2 tone black and gold. I’m not sure how I like the new bracelet. But I do like the new movement better the 70 hour power reserve.

i have one question i have geniune one 2020 and mine wind clock wise ! Why is yours wind anticlock on the vidio ?? And The new oyster bracelet should have two half links and weight 153g ?? Total links 12 links including thd the halfs!
I was called the same week the watch came out from my local A.D. but when I put it on my 7 1/2 inch wrist I could not believe how much bigger it actually wears..The proportions are actually out of proportion. The face of the watch is actually wider.. the bracelet is wider and the clasp is way to long and wide and not to mentioned the noise that the watch makes thanks to it's 3235 movement. I own the now discontinue 116610LN and I now love it more than ever... from the looks to how the bracelet tappers down to the clasp and ahh yes the quite tough and tested 3135 movement. Kommt auf den AD an. Wenn er cool ist ja! Die nicht so coolen streichen dann von der Liste.
habe mich im November 2019 auf die Liste schreiben lassen...genau 1 Jahr später hab ich die 41er bekommen..komme aber aus der Schweiz, weiss nicht ob das irgend eine Rolle gespielt hat...hoffe du bekommst deine auch bald :)
So in etwa war es bei mir auch. Im Juli 2019 geordert und im November 2020 den ersehnten Anruf bekommen. Ich wünsche dir viel Glück.

Good points in the rating score. Hopefully the engineers of Rolex listen and bring us the watch also on an oysterflex
They will but it will be it's own model. You won't be able to swap strap and bracelet. IMO.🤣

I saw your video where you were saying you were waiting to have a new one. Hope we will see your video when you will be offering it to your father. I'm trying to find a new kermit or a new gmt batman, or two tone gmt rose gold, but too much expensive if not buy from a AD and so hard to find them unfortunately. Enjoy your new watch.

is the Rolex submariner date comes stopped by default? and how to make it ticking? is there anything needs to be done to the button?
The lume will go green after 30 mins. Sport use should be 10. I have worn a Sub date since 1975 for diving, swimming and expeditions. I am sure you will do the same.

Honestly speaking the two-tone Submariner Bluesy is much beautiful. Black one is however more in demand,
Dont buy a fake rolex, buy a quality Seiko superclone.watch or something instead, you're still getting a very good watch that looks equally impressive, IMO.

Nice watch.. but if you already have the sub 40mm then dont bother with this watch. I can guarantee the majority of you out there would not be able to tell the difference between the 2 even it it was put together. Nice unboxing video

You were mean with the movement score, only giving it 7 , you should have given a score of 9 as its a new movement power reserve up from 48 hours to 70 hours power reserve. Also diver watches don't need day and date and the original Rolex Submariner came without a date complication as they still do today.
I owned both the 2 tone bluesy and black 40mm. I couldn’t stand how chunky the cases were so I sold them. Also I didn’t like the bi metal of the bracelet. And i didn’t like the 48 hour power reserve. You have the best Rolex trust me. I’m definitely buying this new 41mm just don’t want to wait 10 years 🙄

Yes, build a large purchase history with them (non-Rolex obviously). Unfortunately, these are reward watches now and no longer for the average shmoe that walks in off the street. You're competing against many buyers with big spend histories. It's the only way.

I added the Rolex Submariner 124060 no date to my Submariner collection. It was the first one that my AD got in . Absolutely love this watch . Great video.
