Of all martial arts, I think Kyokushin guys throw the best kicks. This version of the roundhouse has speed and serious damaging power, but at the same time it's a fluid and controllable technique that isn't too stiff or telegraphed too much.
This video has totally changed the way i kick bro . The chambering of the kick has made it way harder for anyone to block my kicks , my low, middle and high kicks all look very similar so its made my sparring partners very cautious knowing where to block my kicks , also its made my hips so much stronger when i practice my chambering ... Thank you Bro OSU 🥋👊
Coming from Muay Thai, I started practicing the chambering, and I can say it is much faster with the chamber. The snap has a much higher initial impact but not as much follow through as the Muay Thai kick. I guess chambering allows you to store slightly less angular m ok momentum in your legs than if you left it straight ish Another thing I noticed is that initially the chamber was very awkward, but after practicing some form of chamber a few hundred times a day alternating legs, it got better. And now my chambered kick is much faster than before Lastly, my front round kick I can now snap out from an orthodox stance without the switch. Obviously not as much follow through and the rest of the trade offs, but man you don't need a lot of force on the jaw to knock someone out who didn't see it coming

It was a great tutorial keep working, an other one question I have did the second kick have a Japanese name in karate terminology, for example like the first one 'mawashi geri' and the second one 'mawashi geri ...........'?
In muay thai you turn your shoulders and hips really strongly and it doesn't look that perfect as an round kick but it is powerful but slower than the kyokushin round kick. And especially muay thai doesn't chamber in the roundhouse and uses the shins and it also doesn't snap. 👍
What do you think about the roundkick? Do you use it in sparring?
What a great breakdown. A stretching routine would be very welcome. Keep up the good work i appreciate it a lot.
Of course man, did kyokushin also uses the second one round kick ?? Like muay thai round kick ??

Thats awesome man! Thank you for sharing that with me! Makes me happy to know!
My favorite technique of all time
Well done. I like seeing both the differences and similarities between your style (Kyokushin) and Muay Thai.
They are similair in the way that both styles do it for full contact!

Verry Nice dude! Do you chamber your leg when you do a leg kick? (Gedan mawasi geri)
Thank you! Yes i do💪
Cool! So not like muay thai with a more stiff leg? Does kyokushin use the shin of foot in the mawasi geri?
@@shotokankaratedude89 both, depends on the target
@@shotokankaratedude89 muay thai still bend the knee a bit

Anybody got any tips for slipping? My feet get sweaty and I slip before I can extend my leg
Is it kyokushin karate mawashi geri?
Yes! 🥋👊
Kyokushin uses both of them half spin and full spin round kick, muaythai uses only full spin or it also uses half spin too ?
Not sure bro. I dont know enough about muay thai to comment on it. I think they swing through

Don't know why you have so less subs.
Patience😁🙏
Now I see. Compared with Taekwondo or Muay thai's roundhouse kick, Pelvis is less rotary than these two kicks.
