    What if the stock location of your license plates is in an area where half of the plates aren't visible? I.e. 1956 Ford F100... Those trucks were made with the stock license plate holder below the tail light, which inadvertently blocks some of the plate with the rear bumper...

      As long as they don't prevent police or cameras from viewing your whole license plate, they are fine.

    Follow your mastah's edicts and be good little slaves y'all. Lol. The state becomes defacto owner of your vehicle once it's registered and they need to see that plate clearly so they can punish you easier when you misbehave out there.
