    i am a senior citizen now. i was a very poor student in Mathematics as in other subjects. My teachers were excellent and it will be sinful to blame them for my not doing well in studies. i was not attentive and that is the reason for not well in studies. so dear students please do not allow you mind to wander when u r taught ant subject. it is worse than losing wealth or jewels. Concentration is the key to acquire unlimited knowledge. This lecture is really good and he teaches fine.

    See if a students starts to learn differential equation. Tips for the The teacher, Teacher should start from what is it Diff.Eq. In layman's term. Instead of saying dy by dx, and second order or saying lots of application physics, math, harmonic waves, etc etc.. Teacher should tell student why are we usimg differential equation,what is diffrential equation? And what it mean by Dy? What it means of Dx? What Dy/dx represent? why it is written like that? Does it mean Rate of change? What is rate of change? Anyway. Think like students and their thought. For example You can not say there are lots of different kind of pizza and its been consume by different ppl in diff country. Instead let the first time user know what is pizza? What are Ingredient inside? How its being made? And then benefit of its. So as Dy/Dx.

    The question with the sin has order 2 and degree 1 because degree is the exponent of 'highest differential coefficient ' and here the highest differential is d^2y/dx^2 and hence
    Order 2 deg 1
    also sin can also be changed to x+x^3/3!.....

    • @CentumAcademy
      @CentumAcademy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If that's the case... then any transcendental function can be expanded using Maclaurin series ..so degree must always exist for any DE??? (even expressed as non polynomial forms)..But unfortunately it doesn't work that way.
