A suggestion to make it more realistic now that I've had a chance to look at the circuit diagram. Use Q8 to drive just the red LEDs and Q9 to drive both red and yellow (amber). The correct sequence is green for four clock cycles, amber for one cycle, red for four clock cycles (same duration as green), red + amber for one cycle (same duration as amber).

What kind of wire do you use to join the pads? Is it just tinned copper or is there a thin insulation on it? I see brown drops on the wire where you've heated it and I was wondering if they are just flux or melted insulation.
If you use a transistor to drive each set of LEDs with a 10k resistor instead of each of the diodes to do the ORing you will avoid the problem of the red LEDs dimming when the yellow (amber) ones turn on.

I use normal copper wire without insulation.
The brown thing is just soldering paste.
I just wanted to make the circuit much easier so I hadn't used transistors. I wanted to make the circuit with 3 LEDs but the PCB was quite big that's why I used 9 LEDs.

Am I getting this right? The values of your current limiting resistors are lower because the voltage drop of the diodes also helps keep the power to the LED's at a safe level(?).

how much did you spent for each video?
And what is the total cost of this circuit?

Excellent. Here is challenge for you. We have pelican crossings too in the UK (these are traffic lights which are not automatic but must be manually activated by a button by a pedestrian) Before the button is pressed the green light is on and amber and red are off. When the button is pressed the WAIT light above the button is activated and after a delay the sequence begins going: Green On to Green Off to Amber On to Amber Off to Red On to Red Off to Amber Flashing (Flashes 10 to 15 times) to Amber Off and back to Green. You can see it in action here: th-cam.com/video/aI3FiOf4rJI/w-d-xo.html

I love the videos like this but you guys need to get rid of that "Boxing Round" Bell. Very annoying. Thanks from me and probably many others! Peace! :-)
