Got mine and it's nice BUT my grind is not the same as yours. I could fix it and I might we shall see. It's even and done excellent but whomever is grinding the edge is not giving it a continuous curve. Mine has a slight straight portion so I'm kinda bummed but not totally ..I'm gonna use it first and see how well it works before I think about adding my own curve to it....I ain't sending it back...There's a short Japanese video where a guy shows his real quick and its worse than mine , its very straight. I'm just happy it showed up.
I guess Condors QC is still lacking. I did see that video. I would not have preferred that grind over mine. I broke my Hudson Bay in half while batoning close to 10 years ago and contacted Condor. They shipped me a replacement no questions asked straight from El Salvador. It was perfect!
@CommonCentsOutdoorsman Yeah I definitely prefer the grind on yours and will most likely try to fix it. I'm just that way with knives...Heck my Benchmade Bushcrafter came with a horrible lopsided handle. It was so uneven that there was no room for a excuse from my perspective. Also the grind on that Bushcrafter was the worst , way to abrupt. I fixed the handle and reprofiled the edge but I will never buy another Benchmade. I'll buy Condors cause the price point is so affordable and usually it's cosmetic issues. Just like Ontario knives both those companies have a history of quality control . I'm happy they are using 1095hc now which will keep me coming back, wonky grinds and all 😁 Fortunately I have the skills to fix grinds but most people don't so I get why they would be upset. I'll use it for a bit and then make a review and give my opinion on it all. Thanks for your vids on the blade. There's not much out there on the Trivitatta so you are their #1 salesman 😁 I won't blame you for my wonky grind though LOL. I did see the Japanese vid before I purchased knowing mine might show up like his. .. roll of the dice 🎲 😏 I never seem to win at gambling. 🍻 cheers.
@Airik1111bibles Fixed many a Condor also. My Mayflower literally came with a square edge and no grind. Like it wasn't even finished lol. Everything else was perfect so I fixed it easily enough. Love Condor one day... hate them the next. They keep drawing me in though with their cool designs. May try the Patagonia next. Yeah I'm surprised there aren't more vids on the Trivittata yet.
@CommonCentsOutdoorsman Hey , sorry to keep bugging ya I promise I'm not a stalker LOL I was watching the 2023 Condor Knife Center from 9 months ago. It has Joe Flowers talking about the Trivitatta....Well when. They show the knife it definitely does not have your grind geometry. You ended up with the odd one which in my opinion is how the knife should be . Mine looks just like the one in their video so it's not supposed to have that curve . Yours leaves the recosso or plunge line straight and then slowly curves to thw tip one even curve . Mine like theirs leaves the plunge line going upward instantly . I think you ended up with a very unique Trivitatta and people are going to be confused when they buy theirs . You lucked out .... Mines not so bad I just expected a totally different edge . That said it works awesome now and thw handle is very comfortable. I'll have to make a review and show people the difference sometime soon. Anyways check out that video and see the showroom floor edition...Its pretty weird .
Good looking knife. I'm a fan of Condor knives; I just recently bought the Bushlore and in limited use so far, it seems like a fine knife. If you're interested in puukkos, I encourage you to check out the Old Forest Bushcraft channel. Excellent videos on a variety of knives, most set in the beautiful Finnish countryside. Cheers!
Thank you for this
Now I just need to get one, lol. Looks very handy, and not breaking the bank. Thanx for the demonstration!
It's a winner. Thanks brother!
Looks like a nice Puukko knife ...

Hopefully they do!
Great to see you! Been a while!

Yep, I'm subed to him. Enjoy the Bushlore John!
Nice looking blade but condors heat treat is very hit & miss from my experience.
I've had good luck with their HT but have had some bad fit, finish, grind and edge problems. Not with this one though.
