This!! I've been searching for a great main dps kaeya build. This vid is the most detailed one that I've ever watched. Thank you so much. This will help me a lot :)
I love your videos. I was wondering how you feel about Chongyun support for Kaeya to have cryo normal attacks in a freeze comp. I was thinking about having Kaeya with the 4 piece blizzard strayer. The team I would build would have Chongyun, Kaeya, Xingqui, and a healer. Keep up the quality vids!
My view of Cryo Kaeya and permafreeze Kaeya is the following: It's a highly specialized way of building Kaeya. It is really strong against anything that's not Cryo resistant/immune. But when facing a Cryo resistant/immune enemy, the build damage potential falls a lot. And this is why I personally don't like it. I prefer a more versatile build that can work well in any situation, rather than a specialized one that can be countered. But that's just my own personal opinion about it. I don't claim my Pyro/Melt Kaeya is superior than the Cryo / permafreeze Kaeya. And I have seen really strong permafreeze Kaeyas. The most recent one that I enjoyed a lot was this one that used Albedo in the mix (which would make the build more versatile): th-cam.com/video/xICdbNAJjzs/w-d-xo.html&t

Thanks, friend! I've noticed it a few days ago. And the performance impact on my notebook was basically 0. Started recording my new videos with bloom enabled. Way better.
Thanks, friend! Hope he works out well for you. Just keep in mind he uses the same Weekly boss materials as Fischl, so if you like her don't upgrade Kaeya's talents above level 6.
Thank you for making a guide on this build! If I ever get C6 Bennett I can confidently activate it TvT I have a question though. What do you think of 4 set Cryo Kaeya build that's been going around? Kaeya, Chongyun, Bennett, Xinqiu.
It's a really good way to build Kaeya, and Bennett would help a lot against Cryo enemies, which are Cryo Kaeya's worst nemesis. It adds a lot of versatility to the permafreeze comp.
@@LuizRhetor I'm going to try the melt kaeya build, cause I only have a C0 benny. I luckliy also have a skyward sword, I need to optimize my teams around my C2 Kaeya. Currently, I'm running a physical kaeya with Fishcl, xiangling and barbs. I will pick up xingqui soon and change up my team.

@@LuizRhetor Thank you! I gave it a lot of thought, and i've decided to try a Melt comp using Kaeya with Ganyu as my sub-DPS for him, instead of Chongyun freeze comp. I do believe it'll give me less overall DPS, but yeah, versatility is not overrated. ... Now that goddamn Cryo slime is gon' get it.
@@gabrielmachia3784 Hope it works out for you! Ganyu will enhance Kaeya's Burst and Skill, so he will still do a lot of Cryo DPS. Before switching to Pyro/Melt Kaeya, I was one of the strongest Physical Kaeya users, based on my research. Switching to Melt/Pyro almost doubled my DPS potential. Take Taishan Mansion, for example, even if the Pyro Agents have 50% Pyro resistance, my Pyro Kaeya build still beats my Physical Kaeya build by quite the margin.
My current team is diluc, kaeya, xinqiu, and bennet. I use kaeya as my sub dps. I'm looking for sucrose in next banner to replace my xinqiu, i want to optimize my diluc combo reaction bcs pyro on wet enemies is only 1,5x dmg, rather than pyro on cyro applied enemies that give my pyro 2x dmg. CMIIW
Yeah, for Diluc you either use Kaeya or Xinqiu. Because having Frozen in the composition is actually bad, because then you will get mostly shatter, which isn't that great compared to Vaporize or Melt. Sucrose should work really well
No problem, friend. Glad you like them. I really like Dragon's Bane second option (Elemental Mastery) but since you want to be triggering Melts, Dragonbane's passive is not a good one, since it wouldn't' work against frozen or cryo affected enemies.

Hi, friend! Thanks for subscribing! The build will work well even with characters at C0. Kaeya's C1 isn't really that useful on this build. All Xiangling really need is high Energy Recharge
Thanks! And thank you for inspiring others to continue using Kaeya as their main. Hope he gets in a banner someday tho. I would use up all my primogems and wishes to get his constellations 😂
Just tried emailing mhy asking if the starter characters will ever be in a character event banner. They just said we can get the starter characters in the permanent wish banner. 🙃
@@christelleannepapelleras8690 Yeah, quite the shame. Our biggest hope is that they will be feature in the Monstadt Festival Banner. If they don't show there, they probably will never be featured in banners outside the default one
If that really happens I'll just have to get alot of primogems from the event to save all of it. I have a theory that if he becomes relevant again (mostly in the Khaenri'ah chapter) he'll be on the banner. Fully maxed out constellations for the three starter characters is more of an achievement to me than getting all 5 star characters xD

Tried the melt team comp and it's super fun! If only I could use xingqiu on two separate teams for abyss lol. I kinda need him for electrocharged with keqing. Or maybe I should pair keqing with mona instead xD
I can only do melt kaeya build atm, couldn't get bennet on the albedo banner :((. I have kaeya, xiangling, xingqiu and amber. Should I switch to barbara like in your video or stick with xingqiu? I love kaeya and xingqiu combination tho, sadly it's only xingqiu C0. Kaeya is C2 thanks to permanent banner (I got supper lucky), xiangling at C4 in ganyu banner and amber C0. Still farming artifacts but I'm still currently doing it in elite bosses for now. I'm AR30 btw. Love to get advise from you, thanks.
I personally think Xinqiu is more than enough as the party healer, especially since Kaeya can heal himself too. So I would keep Amber as the fourth member because this way you can make use of the Pyro Elemental Resonance (+25% ATK). Xinqiu even at C0 is a beast. Mine is currently C2, and there isn't much difference. To me Xinqiu is the most mandatory Kaeya support. You should never get rid of him if you plan on using Kaeya. If you are having issues with health, remove Amber and run Kaeya, Xinqiu, Xianling, Barbara.

I really enjoy having him and feel safe with my team with him there. Is my team still okai or is it not because I am not getting the freeze then pyro /:
Hi, friend! Sadly I am quite outdated when it comes to builds so I can't really point you to the most optimal one with Zhongli and Kaeya. What I remember though is that Zhongli shield reduce enemy defenses, so he is always a good party member, even if not the most optimal. I should have some videos of Kaeya and Zhongli together on some compositions, but even those characters you listed can work together efficiently to some extent, just not the most optimal team for the hardest contents.
Sure can. Andrius, even though immune to Cryo, still can be affected by the Cryo debuff, which means you can still trigger melt with a Pyro attack against him.
Hi Luiz! Great video. Your channel is seriously a godsend. Which 4* would you recommend getting when 1.3 comes out? Right now I have Kaeya, Barbara, Xiangling, and Amber/Noelle/Lisa for the fourth spot. My brain damage is telling me to get Beidou so I can get closer to having a 100% eyepatch squad (LOL), but I know Xingqiu or Xinyan would probably be best. What do you think? Everyone I have is at C0 except for my C1 Barbara.
Xinqiu is essential if you want to constantly trigger the stronger version of the Melt Reaction. Check my new Albedo video, without Xinqiu in the party you only trigger the weaker version of Melt, since you don't have a Hydro character to Freeze the enemies. I highly recommend him.
@@raincloud99999 Yeah, unfortunately for Barbara to apply the Hydro debuff efficiently you need her to use normal attacks, which will cut down your overall DPS since you will need to keep switching characters. Xinqiu on the other hand just need to use his Elemental Skill and Burst once and you will have a constant source of Hydro debuff for around 20 seconds.
Dang, my apologies for the very late reply. TH-cam started missing some comments notifications. That might actually be a really good way to build her. Would make the Melts even more deadly. I might need to do some testings if it is indeed better or not than the ones I recommend here. But I can predict that the Wanderer's Troupe might be a good set for her when in the Melt party with Ganyu added, which together with Kaeya and Xinqiu ensures most of the Melts are triggered by Xiangling.

Hi, friend! Kaeya and Xingqiu work great in a lot of team comps. For now you could add Xinyan and Sucrose if you already have them leveled up. Down the road you could use Beidou/Fischl, Xiangling or Chongyun. They all work well with Kaeya and Xingqiu.
@@LuizRhetor thank you for the response! I’m trying to reach adventure level 20 atm so I can get Xiangling in replace of xinyan, though I’ll admit I’m having a bit of a hard time understanding the details about building/leveling characters, what determines a support or main, and how to go about building them all..do u happen to have any videos regarding that I could watch?
@@piplup985 Unfortunately I don't have any video explaining such details. But I'm sure you can find plenty of good videos on TH-cam. Kaeya, Xingqiu, Xinyan and Xiangling might work really well, and you will have the Pyro Elemental Resonance active this way, giving you a 25% ATK bonus. It is a great elemental resonance. A good way to see if a character works well as a support is if he can provide any sort of aid while off the field. Xingqiu for example has his E rainswords and his burst, which both works while he is off the field, allowing him to support your active character (your main DPS). Kaeya's Burst works in a similar fashion, hence why he works well as a support also. He's quite versatile, working well as a main DPS aswell as a support.
@@LuizRhetor No worries!! you are so sweet thank you for all this help. I really appreciate it. I actually just got incredibly lucky and rolled fishl! woo

Noelle in thatsetup would have to be the carry, But I personally think she weakens the setup because she will be shattering frozen enemies, thus stealing the frozen reaction from Xiangling's strong melts. Don't get me wrong, it can work well, it's just not the ideal setup for a Kaeya/Xiangling Melt team.
I honestly want to try Kaeya and Amber, but Amber feels too weak for the content I’m tackling but I don’t have any other pyro or Cryo units to replace her with

Here's a video showcasing both builds: th-cam.com/video/AabiFKTf7go/w-d-xo.html Those stats of yours are already quite good. That's a really good Melt Kaeya Setup. And you can also use the permafreeze Kaeya build if you get bored. Just switch Xiangling with someone like Sucrose or Bennett and you get the Cryo permafreeze build.
I would love to try the c6 Benny+Kaeya combo tbh- what would be a good replacement for Xingqiu tho? I have him, but I usually need him on Yanfei's team. I have Childe, Albedo and soon enough Kazuha, Idk if they could fit.
In my experience, just Kaeya and Xingqiu provides more than enough healing, since Kaeya can self-heal. I would build Kaeya, Xingqiu, Xiangling and Sucrose, personally.
i plan to use albedo for the melt kaeya team comp alongside xingqiu and xiangling, what do you think could be the best build for him? right now he's running with 4 piece archaic petra (def/geo dmg/def) and festering desire. originally i went with crit rate for his headpiece and tried to get as much crit dmg substats but wasn't so lucky so i ditched the crit rate for def instead. is that a good enough build for him? thanks! :D
I'm leveling my Albedo also to use in my party. I'm still unsure what the best way to build him is, but based on my research the Harbinger of Dawn is an excellent weapon for him. And with the Harbinger of Dawn the CRIT DMG headpiece might be the better option. Will be using the Archaic Petra also. I'll test out if ATK or Defense is better, though I think it will be defense based on the videos I've saw. Expect to see a showcase of him in my party soon.
@@LuizRhetor thanks! i personally went for defense bc his skill's dmg scales with it, and i don't really have albedo out on the field too long after putting down his flower/using his burst. will look forward to your albedo showcase soon!
@@luzloshiv Yeah, the thing I like most about him is that his Elemental Skill apparently lasts for 30 seconds, so you don't need to waste DPS by keep switching often to him.
How viable is this without C1? Also if using prototype rancour does it make the most sense to go 2pce glad 2pce blood and physical cup?(or whichever piece it is). Would love a bit more info on artifacts, bit lost.
C1 isn't that important here. Honestly all my latest builds for Kaeya it doesn't really matter if he has C1 or not, but he still remains insanely powerful. You can use 2-Piece Bloodstained Chivalry, like I mentioned in the video. Physical Cup sure helps also, because on the Melt Kaeya build Kaeya will be dealing Physical DMG.
Would Mona be a good replacement for Xingqiu? I got her earlier on when I started playing and also got Ganyu while trying to pull for Xingqiu. So would Kaeya, Ganyu, Mona + pyro char be good for this?
Mona would work, but sadly would not be optimal because her Elemental Skill doesn't last too long. And the idea is to not to have to keep switching between characters, or else you cut your DPS. But on the other hand, her Elemental Burst is always a force to be reckoned with. I have her myself, but since I have Xinqiu, I prefer to use him. If you still will try to wish for him, I wish you good luck on getting him. But don't worry too much. The core of the party is Kaeya + Xiangling. Xinqiu does become a core member later, but with just Kaeya and Xiangling you will be able to push some impressive DPS.
Barbara and Mona can work if you don't have Xingqiu. But Xingqiu is the best Hydro support. Should try to get him if you can. Yes, Diona would work too. Sadly she doesn't provide much offensive support unless you have her C6. With her C6 she becomes insanely good for the Melt composition.
@@LuizRhetor for xingqiu its more like in abyss Diluc needs him too, hence the dilemma. Thanks a lot BTW! Sadly speaking I only have her at c2 and like you say not exactly a great offensive support.
@@LuizRhetor Thanks a lot. Your videos are of great help! One last question. For melt comp I do have gladiator set and its atk% for two(last piece is noblesse crit dmg% currently around 50%). Is that viable as I do have jade cutter to cover for crit rate and I am not sure whether i should give up cryo dmg bonus in a melt comp? With regards to albedo I always placed him at start of any comp/sequence to take advantage of all E and Q. Curious on how you thought about his build as imo he is a great battery with insane low cd.
@@raikiribreak In my experience, ATK% is reasonable for Kaeya, since it will be boosting his whole kit instead of just his normal attack or just his Elemental Skill/burst. Cryo Goblet shines in a Cryo Kaeya build with Chongyun, where you can enhance Kaeya's whole kit with the Cryo Normal Attack infusion. 4-Piece Gladiator's Finale more than justifies switching the Cryo % Goblet out. I did make an Albedo showcase, but I haven't built him fully yet, so I'm still not sure what type of build I'll make on him. Right now my team is Kaeya Xingqiu Zhongli and Hu Tao I also have C6 xiangling and c2 diona which I'm thinking of using for abyss. No Bennett unfortunately.. What would be the best team for melts?
Kaeya, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Zhongli. Just keep in mind Zhongli's Pillar will shatter frozen enemies, but his shield resistance shred should be really good in the composition
Im confused which characters I should use. I have Bennett, Sucrose, Barbara and Xingqiu. Now my problem when I use Bennett is that I can't switch my Kaeya's Prototype rancour to Bennett to increase his base ATK Im currently using sacrificial sword on Bennett. Having Sucrose is good to crowd enemies in one place to save time killing all enemies rather than going to each enemies position but then you said I should use Xingqiu for better melt damage. This is the reason why im confused which character I should use
Would you recommend xinyan over xiangling? I have them both at c2 so xinyan gets a level 3 shield after ultimate for constant pyro damage and reaction. I know xiangling has better AoE and stronger ultimate but I dunno who to choose :(
@@alianar.d.8724 Depends if you want to build a physical Kaeya team comp or other Kaeya builds (Cryo or Melt). For Physical, Beidou is good, and I did use her before. You can watch my older videos to see her in action.
Is prototype starglitter a good weapon for Xianling? I saw that everyone used it for her so i crafted it, but apparently prototype starglitter is a better option.
It's a reasonable weapon for a support Xiangling if you don't have better weapons, thanks to its Energy Recharge second option. For a main DPS Xiangling the Crescent Pike is the superior choice until you get a 5 Star weapon.
@@LuizRhetor oops i got the cresent pike confused with the prototype starglitter. I actually crafted crescent pike. But for this comp, since i have the weapon, can i do kaeya and xianling both as main dps. If not then should I stick with Xiangling cause her attack is also pretty high. Also the reason why the crit weapon u had is better for xiangling as support is because it not only affects the character's physical damage but also its elemental burst/skill?
@@chrishbeatboxing2291 I'm gonna be honest. I was a Xiangling main before being a Kaeya main. Her normal attacks DPS can't compare with his. When I moved to Kaeya as a main, all I did was swap Xiangling's artifacts to him, and his normal attack DPS outclassed hers even with Kaeya having a lower talent level at the time. Plus, Kaeya has a lower cooldown skill, while Xiangling has a longer cooldown one, so this would kinda force you to keep switching to Kaeya constantly, which actually hurts your DPS (You lose a bit of DPS by constantly switching characters). Yes, the idea behind the CRIT DMG weapon is because it boosts her burst and skill. Xiangling in my composition never uses her normal attacks. Don't get me wrong though, Xiangling would work fineas the main DPS. But if you want to min/max the composition Kaeya is the way to go.
@@justinereycailao8774 Both work well. I personally think The Black Sword is better, especially because of the healing passive. Prototype Rancour only starts dealing noticeable more DPS at refinement level 4.
Haven't considered it. The enemies are usually affected by Cryo first, since Kaeya's burst applies Cryo quite fast, so it's not often that the enemies are affected by Pyro to make the set worth it, even on a Cryo focused Kaeya. But I might be mistaken. Only testing it to find out the effectiveness of the build
@@StrumentoGearon It does happen, but since the reverse melt is only 1.5x multiplier, compared to the 2.0x multiplier from the normal melt, it is actually reducing my overall DPS. The optimal thing to happen is to trigger only the 2.0x multiplier.

Use Jean for now. And with Diluc you need to pick if you will want to go the Kaeya Melt route or Xinqiu Vaporize route. If you have both Kaeya and Xinqiu on the party you will freeze your target and Diluc's claymore will trigger shatter instead of Melt, shatter being way weaker. Sucrose would be a good 4th member because she can boost Diluc's Elemental Mastery to enhance his Melts.
@@LuizRhetor Is vaporize easier to pull off with Xinqiu than Melt with Kaeya? I've invested a bit already on my Kaeya. Since I use him to farm crimson witch artifacts.
@@spliffzombonie I can't give my opinion since I don't have a Diluc, nor have I seen a comparison of both builds. But what I can say based on what I heard is that Diluc + Xinqiu is considered a really good Vaporize composition.

@@LuizRhetor thank you very much! Should i replace her with bennett as soon as possible? Because i dont have him yet- and should i keep xingqiu xianging and xinyan at lvl 60 first?
@@Bunny-bv4pf My recommendation is always to level up your main DPS first, in this case Kaeya. The rest you can level up after you're done prioritizing the main DPS. You don't need to replace Xinyan with Bennett, she is a viable option too if you like her, and she allows you to deal with shielded enemies more easily. Is just that Bennett overall is simply one of the best characters in the game.
Unfortunately, Xingqui won't come home to me :((( The only Hydro character I have right now is Barbara and I only have Bennett at C1. I use the Black sword from the BP bounty for my Kaeya ;-; I'm thinking of building my Barbara for now while waiting for Xingqui :
No, don't build Barbara. Since you already have Bennett is best to swap Barbara for another character. Sucrose for example. The only reason I mention Barbara is in case you don't have Xinqiu or Bennett to act as the party healer. Barbara elemental skill is not that great for applying the hydro debuff, and the worst part is that she keeps applying the wet status on your active party member, which is really bad against Cryo enemies.
It's one of my favorite ways of using the build. Plus Bennett's heal is really powerful. I like to use the Instructor Set on him, considering that his Burst damage boost only takes into consideration his base damage. So stacking high ATK via artifacts is useless for his Burst ATK boost for teammates.
That team would work well to some extent but not as a Melt Kaeya composition, since Xiangling is a mandatory party member for the Melt Kaeya setup. I'd recommend either Kaeya, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennet, or Kaeya, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Xinyan.
Not sure. If you could provide more details about your current artifacts, weapons and team composition here maybe I could find out why. Normal Attack Talent level 9 here by the way, might be that

@@franklloydlicerio8254 I personally noticed that CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are the most important stats to reach high DPS. Sounds like? Mate, my Kaeya alone can finish all abyss floors (videos on my channel), the current floor 11 with 7 stars, and he is just C1 with a 4 star weapon. This!! I've been searching for a great main dps kaeya build. This vid is the most detailed one that I've ever watched. Thank you so much. This will help me a lot :)
No problem, friend! If you need more tips or advice feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to help!
Omh thank you soo much i have all the characters to build the melt kaeya team this was really helpful!!
Let me know how it works out for you!
THANK YOU! This is the most helpful guide that I have been looking for! Kudos to you bro!
Thanks, friend! Might be a bit outdated though, so keep that in mind
My view of Cryo Kaeya and permafreeze Kaeya is the following:
It's a highly specialized way of building Kaeya.
The most recent one that I enjoyed a lot was this one that used Albedo in the mix (which would make the build more versatile):
th-cam.com/video/xICdbNAJjzs/w-d-xo.html&t
I use this(kinda)
Kaeya dps
Diona healer
Mona support (?)
Traveler electro
Is just perfect
Thank you so much for this guide. I was asking about a good weapon for Kaeya in your other video, but I got the answer here 💙❄
Great vid as always! Very informative. I'm still grinding better artifacts for my Klee so I can farm artifacts for Kaeya and Xingqiu next.
Thanks, friend! Good luck on them artifacts rolls
Nice guide 👍 keep up the good work
Much appreciated, friend!
I don't even what to comment damn you doing too good Keep going love this video
Thanks a lot, friend!
I think you're correct with his dodge. Since Kaeya is one of the taller characters in the game.
hi, just a suggestion, enable bloom option in graphic settings, idk why but it makes your sfx colors look a lot better. great video btw, learning a lot about kaeya :D
Thanks, friend! I've noticed it a few days ago. And the performance impact on my notebook was basically 0. Started recording my new videos with bloom enabled. Way better.
I use physical Kaeya at the moment since farming good set is hard and take so long. Good video
Thanks, friend! Hope he works out well for you. Just keep in mind he uses the same Weekly boss materials as Fischl, so if you like her don't upgrade Kaeya's talents above level 6.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
Wow, I love this. Thanks for the guide!
Glad you liked it, friend!
I plan on building something similar to this with Rosaria once she comes out! She has rly high multipliers as well
Yeah, I can see she working out quite well in a similar composition
Thank you for making a guide on this build! If I ever get C6 Bennett I can confidently activate it TvT I have a question though. What do you think of 4 set Cryo Kaeya build that's been going around? Kaeya, Chongyun, Bennett, Xinqiu.
It's a really good way to build Kaeya, and Bennett would help a lot against Cryo enemies, which are Cryo Kaeya's worst nemesis. It adds a lot of versatility to the permafreeze comp.
Oh yeah!! I love this build!
Glad you like it, friend! Let me know how it works for you.
Already watched this like a month ago but I finally got Bennett and Xingqiu so I’m back! This team is so fun to use. Thanks for putting together such a helpful guide. I also somehow got keqing on roll 20 something but don’t know if I should invest in her. Electro seems to kind of get in the way of frozen :(

Glad to hear that, friend!
Thank you for the video, man, informative as always! Just a quick question. Do you consider Melt Kaeya comps to be superior to Freeze comps?
I consider the Melt comp more versatile. I never fully built a Cryo / permafreee Kaeya, so I can't give a solid opinion about it. But I do know that its DPS potential falls a lot against Cryo immune/resistant enemies, which is the nature of specialized builds.

Thanks for this video. I have been looking for a good kaeya build guide. I plan to go with the full set cryo set for a freeze comp
diluc n kaeya is my 2 dps, also my favorite characters. 2 man like tai chi or extreme idk. But i enjoy your video, tks you.
Thanks!
Sucrose should work really well
is dragon's bane spear good with xiangling on this setup? thanks again for the videos :)
No problem, friend. Glad you like them. I really like Dragon's Bane second option (Elemental Mastery) but since you want to be triggering Melts, Dragonbane's passive is not a good one, since it wouldn't' work against frozen or cryo affected enemies.
Hi! New subscriber and player here. Your guides are really good. I do have a question though. What if all my characters on the team are C0? Including Kaeya and Xiangling. I'm considering on using melt instead of pyro kaeya.
Great vid as always!
Just a small question, how do you think this melt comp matches up to phys dmg and freeze comps in terms of dps and versatility?
Thanks a lot friend!
Just like I mentioned to another subscriber, I consider the Melt comp more versatile. I never fully built a Cryo / permafreee Kaeya, so I can't give a solid opinion about it. Tried the melt team comp and it's super fun! If only I could use xingqiu on two separate teams for abyss lol. I kinda need him for electrocharged with keqing. Or maybe I should pair keqing with mona instead xD
Yeah, Xingqiu is such a good character I also wish I could use him on both teams
Well, there are new artifacts now... How about Emblem of Severed Fate for Xingqiu and/or Xiangling?
Aww I have C1 Bennett and I've been wanting to get Xingqui for the Pyro Kaeya too but Xingqui won't just come home to me am losing hope HSBXJRNDJDNKD
@@LuizRhetor Thanks so much, I got lucky with Xiangling cons but sadly I couldn't get Xingqiu cons. It's good news that it won't make a difference but I really liked his playstyle, I'm building him like a main dps rn together with kaeya. Could you help me here?? Kaeya is my main DPS he has no censtellations. Then I have C1 Bennett. XiangLing with no constellations. And Zhongli with no constellations as my tank shield.
Can this kill andrius? I'm a beginner and I only have Kaya c1 and Benet that I got from beginner banner.
Sure can. Andrius, even though immune to Cryo, still can be affected by the Cryo debuff, which means you can still trigger melt with a Pyro attack against him.
Curious if you've tested the new physical set; any chances to artifact recommendations? 2pce Blood 2pce Pale maybe?
A great constant option. I'm currently farming for the Pale Flame set myself. Expect a video about it once I form a good set
Ah I see. Thanks! I do have Barbara for hydro but I assume Xingqiu is just better?
@@raincloud99999 Yeah, unfortunately for Barbara to apply the Hydro debuff efficiently you need her to use normal attacks, which will cut down your overall DPS since you will need to keep switching characters. Xinqiu on the other hand just need to use his Elemental Skill and Burst once and you will have a constant source of Hydro debuff for around 20 seconds.
Cool. Thanks for taking the time to reply :)
@@raincloud99999 No problem, friend. I'm always happy to help
What do you think about Xingqiu with a 2-piece Noblesse Oblige and a 2-piece Wanderers Troupe set?
Dang, my apologies for the very late reply. TH-cam started missing some comments notifications.
That might actually be a really good way to build her. Would make the Melts even more deadly. I might need to do some testings if it is indeed better or not than the ones I recommend here. But I can predict that the Wanderer's Troupe might be a good set for her when in the Melt party with Ganyu added, which together with Kaeya and Xinqiu ensures most of the Melts are triggered by Xiangling.
Then I'll try this build for sure, thank you for the help!
hi! I’m really new to genshin, but I have sucrose, xingqiu, noelle, and xinyan..I’d love to keep kaeya and xingqiu in my main 4, but who would you recommend for the other two? I have anemo aether also :0
I actually just got incredibly lucky and rolled fishl! woo
@@piplup985 Dang, congrats on Fischl. She is a great support for many characters, and works really well for Kaeya (I currently use her on my main teamcomp). You can check this video of mine where I show her with Kaeya:
th-cam.com/video/XSM2tDf2-KM/w-d-xo.html
What do you think about Kaeya, Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Noelle build? That's what I'm using right now. Is Noelle not effective?
Noelle in thatsetup would have to be the carry, But I personally think she weakens the setup because she will be shattering frozen enemies, thus stealing the frozen reaction from Xiangling's strong melts. Don't get me wrong, it can work well, it's just not the ideal setup for a Kaeya/Xiangling Melt team.
@@LuizRhetor Yeah that makes sense, thanks for the feedback :)

I only have 52% crit rate and 124% crit damage with Prototype Rancour (2 set Gladiator + 2 set bloodstained) will the Melt build works well?
Also would you reccommend Melt Kaeya or Perma freeze Kaeya?
Hi, friend! I recommend the build you think you will have most fun playing with. Both builds are really good, and its hard to determine which one is best. Here's a video showcasing both builds:
th-cam.com/video/AabiFKTf7go/w-d-xo.html
Those stats of yours are already quite good. I'm sure the Melt build would work well, especially since Xiangling and Xingqiu deal quite a large proportion of the DPS also.

i plan to use albedo for the melt kaeya team comp alongside xingqiu and xiangling, what do you think could be the best build for him? right now he's running with 4 piece archaic petra (def/geo dmg/def) and festering desire. originally i went with crit rate for his headpiece and tried to get as much crit dmg substats but wasn't so lucky so i ditched the crit rate for def instead. is that a good enough build for him? thanks!
Hello! What do u think about 4 pcs blizzard+aquila favonia for kaeya dps? Which one is better for cup? Cryo or physical? Thank you!
@@LuizRhetor Good to know!! Thanks a lot!
Will Barbara/mona be a good replacement for Xingqiu? Also no Ganyu here so can I have Diona in place?
Barbara and Mona can work if you don't have Xingqiu. But Xingqiu is the best Hydro support. Should try to get him if you can.
Yes, Diona would work too. Sadly she doesn't provide much offensive support unless you have her C6. With her C6 she becomes insanely good for the Melt composition.
@@LuizRhetor for xingqiu its more like in abyss Diluc needs him too, hence the dilemma. Thanks a lot BTW!
Sadly speaking I only have her at c2 and like you say not exactly a great offensive support.
Don't worry too much, I did use Diona for a while on my Kaeya party. The Cryo Elemental Resonance itself justifies having her in the team.
Probably a Defense focused one, since it seems its the most recommended one:
th-cam.com/video/BE9yGcex7qo/w-d-xo.html&t

Right now my team is Kaeya Xingqiu Zhongli and Hu Tao
I also have C6 xiangling and c2 diona which I'm thinking of using for abyss. No Bennett unfortunately..
What would be the best team for melts?
Kaeya, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Zhongli. Just keep in mind Zhongli's Pillar will shatter frozen enemies, but his shield resistance shred should be really good in the composition
@@LuizRhetor Alright thanks for the advice
I know xiangling has better AoE and stronger ultimate but I dunno who to choose :(
You can use both for resonance if you have two open spaces
What can you use for xiangling if you dont have the weapons mentioned
Any weapon with the highest base damage you currently, since most of the 3 Star Polearms' passives are Normal attack focused, unfortunately.
Is C1 Xingqiu better or should I start building Barbara for the beginner team?
I used C1 Xinqiu for a long time. He's definitely better than Barbara. I have a C6 Barbara and prefer a C0 Xinqiu instead
@@LuizRhetor Alright thanks man! Also just wanna ask, for the new event should I pick Xingqiu for C2 or get a Beidou for my Kaeya team?
@@LuizRhetor ok, thx for tips!
In melt Kaeya... what main stat better on him on his goblet? Atk%? Cryo DMG? Physical Atk?
Since his normal attacks still deal physical damage, and they are his greatest source of DPS, Physical DMG Goblet would be the best option
@@LuizRhetor so in weapon? I have black sword... what should I use my prototype or black sword?
@@justinereycailao8774 Both work well. I personally think The Black Sword is better, especially because of the healing passive. Prototype Rancour only starts dealing noticeable more DPS at refinement level 4.
Have you considered cryo Kaeya with lavawalker reverse melt build.
@@LuizRhetor I saw a big cryo number during the pyro regisvine fight around 3:30. Could possibly be reverse melt reaction with his E?
@@StrumentoGearon It does happen, but since the reverse melt is only 1.5x multiplier, compared to the 2.0x multiplier from the normal melt, it is actually reducing my overall DPS. The optimal thing to happen is to trigger only the 2.0x multiplier.
I just pulled Diluc recently. I'm thinking DIluc (main dps), kaeya (sub dps), bennet (support). Dunno what to put on 4th team. I have a lvl 70 jean and a lvl 1 sucrose. Xinqiu can be acquired soon too. Should I just wait for xinqiu instead?
@@LuizRhetor Yeah, guess I'll just have to try it out. Thanks!
Can we use diluc instead of Bennett
Hey, what would you recommend for xinyan in terms of weapons and artifacts?
Since I don't have her I never thought about a good set to fit the composition. Would probably try to maximize her shield potential, since she would only be a support in the party.
I play since release and can not beat Dvalin in 1 DPS Window, your Artifacts must be really good.
Is melt/pyro Kaeya still good to run if I have Bennet as support?
It's one of my favorite ways of using the build. Plus Bennett's heal is really powerful. I like to use the Instructor Set on him, considering that his Burst damage boost only takes into consideration his base damage. So stacking high ATK via artifacts is useless for his Burst ATK boost for teammates.
Is cresent pike good for xiangling
Hi, friend. I'm quite outdated when it comes to builds. Best to search a Xiangling guide video. Cheers
are kaeya, bennett, xingqiu and xinyan a good team for this? because i also have keqing but i dont know if shes a good fit
Is this sufficient in spiral abyss?
Works really well for me. Always get 9 stars per floor, even on Abyss floor 12
Watching this.. Kaeya it’s time to build you and save up my primos.. sorry Ayaka lol

Can I show us ur stat and cons on ur character bro
Hi, friend! I show them on this video:
th-cam.com/video/YfGtkb-bmoQ/w-d-xo.html&t
How come ur Kaeya deals so much damage bro? I got the same set as you.
Not sure. If you could provide more details about your current artifacts, weapons and team composition here maybe I could find out why. Normal Attack Talent level 9 here by the way, might be that
@@LuizRhetor still at lvl 8 normal attack. 4 pc glad
Att/hp/att%/phys.dmg/crit.dmg
Normally my team is Kaeya, Fishcl,barbara,zhong/klee.
But lately i tried kaeya,diona,zhongli,bennett.
My artifact's substats are trash tho. Only got 20% crit rate
@@franklloydlicerio8254 I personally noticed that CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are the most important stats to reach high DPS. Since you don't have much CRIT Rate, it might be interesting to try out a CRIT Rate headpiece instead of the CRIT DMG one. Aim for the 1:2 rule. Have double the CRIT DMG of your CRIT Rate.
@@LuizRhetor thanks bro. I'll try to farm for one. Wish me luck haha
@@franklloydlicerio8254 Good luck!
"Beginner" Starting Party sounds like it will be Trash in Abyss... you should call it F2P Late Game Destroyer Party
Sounds like? Mate, my Kaeya alone can finish all abyss floors (videos on my channel), the current floor 11 with 7 stars, and he is just C1 with a 4 star weapon.
Xiangling and Kaeya together can cause havoc in Abyss. So yes, the beginner party is more than enough to clear the beginner abyss floors. And continue to stay relevant once you invest more in them.
@@LuizRhetor I don't doubt it, just that "beginner" or "early game" is usually a red flag/negative stigma to it.. I defintely have a solid reason to get my Keyar up.
@@PrinceVinc Hope he serves you well. My first main DPS was Xiangling, which at the time, and even today, is considered a really good beginner main DPS. All I did was swap her artifacts to Kaeya. And boy, the difference was noticeable immediately
@@LuizRhetor For some reason I struggle liking her as DPS, she misses a lot of OOMPH in her Attacks and she like to Attack the wrong Taregt a lot like Cincin Flies
of course it's kaeya national lol
