Media picked the winner, not coaches and ex players. Brock Huard said it best “if only coaches voted for the heisman Ashton Jeanty would be the clear winner”!! JD needs to defend his media bias👎🤮👎
Ohio State wins big on Tenn and not even close but you delusional Vols fans can take that 7.5 and put a few dollars in your pocket thinking the worst tho🎉 Go Bucks 🎉
Can Oregon choose to play the semifinal game at the Orange Bowl rather than at the Cotton Bowl? I heard somewhere (here, quite possibly) that the highest seed in the semis gets to choose which of the two locations they play at. Clearly, Oregon would rather play in Florida than in Texas if they're playing Texas in the semis.
Jeanty was robbed for the heisman!!!! Ppl calling Travis Hunter a “LOCK DOWN CORNER” is just insane to me!! How you a lock down corner going against mid receivers??? He didnt face an Ohio state or Oregon caliber wide receivers!!!! Then when they played a half way decent defense (Kansas state) Travis Hunter had 3 catches for 26 yards!!! IMMA STAND BY THIS JEANTY WAS ROBBED!!!!
@ yes you can say that because it’s never been done before. No one has ever played as great as he does on both side. This is a once in a lifetime thing. Jeanty was great but put him at CB and let’s see what he does?
We’re coming! We’re coming all over the tailgates. All over the brisket. We’re coming on the seats. We’re even coming on the field. Coming all over the Ohio State logo. Bet, we’re even coming on the opposing fans and players. We’re just coming everywhere. We’re gonna be dropping 🍊’s like a dump truck. Be ready, we’re coming. GBO🍊🍊🍊
People say Hunter wasnt matched against top notch receiver's, which he locked down his side of field against the teams on his schedule..Also 14 receiving tds, who has done that? And why is Boise and those other teams that played lessor competition in the playoffs..Their just gonna get blasted, so i dont understand what haters are talking about..
I feel like He was a great player on a bad team the best player by far on a mediocre team so he got more opportunity for sure than we will prolly see again
The Travis Hunter pushback was racial, you didn’t have to say it, I said it for you. My problem with Hunter winning it was, where was the “Put the Team on my Back” & elevate them moment! It’s should’ve happened against 4-7 Kansas, instead, the Buffs blew a shot at the Big12 crown & Hunter’s campaign at that moment epitomized anticlimactic. Jeanty, however, ripped through number one Oregon for 192 yards & 3 TDs in a 3pt loss while serving notice to the nation that he was on the scene. Jeanty ran head first into loaded boxes weekly & no team stopped him all season long. The Heisman could have been split for the first time in History & it would’ve been fine with me. Hunter, in my opinion, really lacked any semblance of a Heisman defining moment. Jeanty was more deserving
The racial aspect comes from Dillion not winning, over 3000 yards and a 13-0 record and doesn't win the Heisman, if he was black he would have won. woke is not dead yet
The greatest player who also leads their team to greatness. That has always been the standard. Colorado played 1 team from the SEC and B1G… that was 6-6 Nebraska and they got embarrassed. Boise State played Oregon to the wire. Jeanty put in work. They’re in the playoffs. Gabriel went 13-0, putting in work against #2 and #3. They’re in the playoffs. Colorado isn’t even in a 12 team playoff. And you talk about record and how Colorado improved. Look at Indiana. 11-1, in the playoffs, with no Heisman candidates and played in the B1G conference. So don’t give me this “Colorado is improved” argument. Everything I stated are objective facts about this season. I have nothing against Travis Hunter, I think he’s a great player… but did he lead his team to greatness? Definitively and objectively no.
Because if you’re going to make the argument that it’s only the best player and not the team then I want to go back in time and give players like Kellen Moore a the Heisman. Because the argument against Kellen Moore at the time is that Boise State wasn’t the best team in the country. People are doing mental gymnastics because they believe Hunter is the best football player this year. Even if that’s true, the standard has always been the best player who leads their team to greatness. Because that’s the same argument people have always used to NOT give people the Heisman in the past.
And the big10, ACC and big12 need to drop at least 4 of their teams. Maybe they should replace teams like northwestern, wake forest, Oklahoma state, Stanford etc with teams like Boise, Ohio etc lol
So JD indirectly said that the heisman is a popularity contest....... got it!
It has been for quite some time…only going to get worse too
Media picked the winner, not coaches and ex players. Brock Huard said it best “if only coaches voted for the heisman Ashton Jeanty would be the clear winner”!! JD needs to defend his media bias👎🤮👎
Who is waiting for you … the Oregon Ducks. Let’s go! Can’t wait to see the Tennessee-Ohio State game and find out who we play.
Oh wow. Which position do you play?
Ohio state also who they play is what you mean
I’m ready to see who we play as well!!!
@@RileyFreeman_247we play FAN!!! Us duck fans are passionate about our team!!! So yes!!! We speak as if we are currently on the roster 🤣🤣🤣🤣💚💛🦆

Ashton Jeanty was suppressed by snap count!
Snaps ain't a stat. Jeanty got robbed
If Tennessee wins Ryan Day gone!
Tennessee winning this game. Bank on it
That would be great to watch! Fingers 🤞

Incoming casuals saying: people hate on Travis because of his race! lol
No, no one is saying that actually.
@kevinbeck7007 Hes just a MAGA victim. Everyone is persecuting him.
@@kevinbeck7007 you’d be as surprised as I was. People type that everywhere
Also what do u think Hunter will play in NFL no way he will be drafted as two way player

1 player plays 1 position 1 player plays 2 positions. No comparison
@ ok then so we can say Travis won the heisman only because he played two ways??? You just said it yourself 🤣🤣🤣
@ yes you can say that because it’s never been done before. No one has ever played as great as he does on both side. This is a once in a lifetime thing. Jeanty was great but put him at CB and let’s see what he does?

Damn I want some of that brisket!
What hunter did has been done and it will be done again. Woodson was electric on special teams and his plays were bigger in bigger games.
Oh yeah? Who? In what century we talking about?
Who did Jeanty run on?
HUNTER had more TD catches than Woodson had receptions 😂

Ginty should have won the Heisman. Everybody knows that he's the best player in college football. Travis Hunter's a beast though
Jeanty* but yeah I agree
No
And then they forget travis hunter started at JACKSON STATE. Moved up to the FBS and did even better 💯😆.
He avg 12.6 a catch. He definitely had 2600 totally offense 30 tds
I feel like He was a great player on a bad team the best player by far on a mediocre team so he got more opportunity for sure than we will prolly see again
Because the CFP refuses to use SOR or SOS, the SEC MUST leave CFP! SEC Championship Playoff TON NIL$$ *BONUS* No Committee!
You are literally begging os 😂. That’s funny 😂and way to give yourself a out

Well articulated and I agree 100%
Hunter was too self obsessed he makes comments like he is the best ever, He isn’t simple as that

Heisman is bullshit, they don't even do it on stats, it's about who has the most media attention
Cancel this shit
Group of 5 needs their own heisman type award and their own playoff
