Great tutorial - thank you. One friendly suggestion for future videos: maybe switch between the before/after comparisons without speaking in between. I found I needed to go back and manually scroll between the two clips (skipping over the speaking) to fully appreciate the difference in tone.
3:45 am I have to go to bed, but good finding you, and right on time...life is good. I love your pace, approach, clarity... I'm on board this train!!! ✍)))
Hi Josh glad I stumbled across you site , you've been a great help, Im just an amateur when it comes to recording Daw and was using cubase then logic and its way to complicated to for what I want which is just a backing track and two audio tracks , after watching your videos ive gone to GarageBand and getting there its great, send you a file once ive finished thanks again for your help.
This guy is so good easy instructions and great to do what he’s doing . I’m a self taught musician but the mastering side was challenging but not any more thanks to this guy cheers matey
@@CellarDoorSound will you please make a preset or show a video mate how to make a virtual instruments guitar sound warm as I’ve not got my new guitar yet so I’m using my piano as guitar etc lol as a midi
Was skeptical of this video at first just cos of the low view and sub count, but I decided to stay and watch cos none of the other videos out there helped me much. I'm glad I did, you helped me out a lot. Thanks a lot!!!
That is great to hear! Thanks so much! I just recently started putting out videos and growth is slow, but I love making these so there will be plenty more
@@CellarDoorSound That's great, I will keep watching them as I'm involved in music myself and am in a band, editing a song right now actually. Can't wait to hear it get better :)
@@CellarDoorSound Will do! In the meantime, you might like one of our favorite covers we've already done: th-cam.com/video/MThIN6Ih-mI/w-d-xo.html (song starts at 50 seconds)
@Cellar Door Sound, This is really awesome mate!! this is exactly what I've been looking for. Would you be able to provide a video mainly for Acoustic Guitar(finger picking) mixing without the vocals? Thanks so much!!!
Awesome! I am glad you like it. If you have a session of a song you don't mind me using I will definitely make a video for you! Let me know if that is something you are interested in.
Also the song that you were editing in this video sounds great. Do you think you could upload that on this channel? I would love to listen to it fully!
I know im really late to this video but I had a question, does the GB documents (presets) work for any type of music? like hispanic or other genres? other than that, REALLY GREAT TRAINING VIDEO!!!!
LOVE STEREO SPREAD TRICK ON THE STICK!!! What a great simple solution for a single guitar track. Thank you. Great Vid!!

Man you made that guitar sound so pretty. Question, how do people record guitar and vocal at the same time using garage band?
Also the song that you were editing in this video sounds great. Do you think you could upload that on this channel? I would love to listen to it fully!
That is a great idea! I will definitely do that
Nice one! Perhaps, too much rev in the end, needs a delay to liven it up? The out of tune lower string just jumps at me for some reason
Yep I get you for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you 🙏 for all the eq and reverb

Yes these presets will work for any voice! Maybe just not for opera haha
Can I do in iPhone 13?
Amazing it’s like photoshop for music!
Haha exactly! Thanks for watching
