Traveling from Whiterun to Makarth or something but chat has a 1-100 chance to spawn enemies and a 1-500 chance to spawn immortal enemy Jack Sparrow somewhere in the world who will come after him.

Hey Doug! I believe you can simplify the mod a ton by using tuples to store the object string as the key and the objectIDs for the value. Then you can just do just three if checks to call the different functions for the object types!

Love the streams! Just wanted to say you could probably clean this up by using a HashMap (python would be dictionaries I believe). Map the keys as the text values to the IDs and then just do a lookup for each thing, if it exists then execute the function you want. (if xyz in dictionary) I love your creativity and I hope this helps!
If you needed to control spawn numbers for each entry you could do enemy_dict = { 'dragon':[idHere, spawnRateHere] } then if chatText in enemy_dict someFunction(enemy_dict[chatText][0], enemy_dict[chatText][1]) which would retrieve the id for the first value and the spawn number for the second I think this would work anyways. Haven't had a lot of experience with python
The only problem with using a HashMap in this scenario would be that it makes the code slightly more difficult to modify, which you can see Doug do several times throughout the VOD. Great idea, though!
Doug, I suggest that next time you do something like this, you set it so that each time something gets actually spawned, a timer of 1 to 10s (determined randomly at the time) is started. Until it finishes, nothing else will spawn. 3:49:40 I think they are. They just had enough momentum to fly past the walls as corpses. 4:09:00 And the chat broke it many times...
YESSSS we're back to Skyrim! This channel made me finally play it back in 2020. I had purchased it when I got my PS4 back in 2018 but never bothered playing until I saw DougDoug play it.
I feel like a clear all command would be helpful at times just to make it so that the game doesn’t crash all the time from the amount of things on screen.
I just realized doug is using the base skyrim, no wonder it was so damn buggy. I mean yeah the mod was a mess cause of the spawning, but skyrimSE is much better suited for this. I was just rewatching the dbz twitch chat smash ultimate TH-cam video Doug made before and it was just as hilarious as always was. Doug should do more challenges on smash ultimate or even better, on brawl maybe. The music in brawl is absolutely legendary.
1. F9 is a hotkey for loading last quick save. 2. When you load any save there is around half a second when your vision off and there is no input allowed, but the world continues to play. Be careful later, you can be hit and etc during that time. Upd: You can use Killall when yhe game is too filled with ai's
