Hey Joe! Ron from Michigan. Love you videos. Thanks for sharing. I was wondering if you have any videos on a beginner’s trailer set up for PW/SW? I have a 6’ by 10’ trailer and will be getting started this spring. Thxs!
Awesome! How do you handle not killing any landscape or vegetation etc that runs off or is hit with overspray, comes down the down spouts etc? Just looking to get jnto washing and watching/learning a lot from your content!
@@robwright3064 it’s never a bad idea. But don’t go to crazy. Unless it’s blazing hot or not rained for days. Some plants are more sensitive than others. You should pre-rent flowers Japanese maples that kind of thing. Be gentle. Once you spray chemical on the house, it’s usually being rinsed within a few minutes. At that time, be sure to hit vegetation.
I’m finding in my area of upstate NY the white vinyl is being a pain in the ass. Doesn’t matter if I downstream with the 8gpm or use the 12 or 24 volt softwash. Finding a ton of material packed into the horizontal stringers that just needs a ton of rinsing.
Have you ever had lichen so bad on vinyl siding that you thought you would be better off with a hammer and a chisel? I was using a 2.1 injector, maybe i should have used a 1.8. Do you think that would have made a difference?
Hey John. You need to pre-treat heavy lichen with a 12 V or a pump sprayer. 3% minimum. You see me hit those in my videos quite often with 4 to 6% and let it hang out for 10 minutes or so it will turn to jelly and slide right off. If you’re using a downstream injector, it will take you multiple applications and extremely long dwell time.
@powerfulimprovements Joe, It took me way longer than I thought it would. I have a 12 volt and obviously should have used it. Thank you for your reply.
Thanks for sharing your price with Roberts. I talked with Korey today and was able to get my price per gallon knocked down. 👍 Heading there tomorrow for a pickup 💪

Overspray typically gets taken care of when rinsing
@@powerfulimprovements awesome. So is there really a need to pre wet the landscape or anything you don’t want to die beforehand?

@powerfulimprovements when you are spraying 3-5% on siding are you concerned about it causing a problem on windows nearby?
@@johnwitt586 pre wet anything you are concerned about and rinse thoroughly
When I see not one but two new videos pop up on my notifications, I know I'll be ending my day well.
