As an African...I can confirm that most African women in the western world who cant cook traditional African meals are likely to stay single or date outside the African community because as an African man one of the most important requirements for us is ensuring that our women should not only be able to cook but cook very well.

However some women have had to turn to those things temporarily to feed, clothe, and house their children who have been abandoned by the father's. @Jake......I appreciate your passion and defense. Unfortunately there is a new era of father's who are stepping up but there has been quite a lot of children that are left behind. In addition, there should be no excuse for abandonment no matter what went on between the adults. Children do not ask to be here and they certainly should not have to suffer because of disagreements between parents. There are quite a few mothers who do not withhold the child from the father. Finally, these statements are not targeted at those that handle their business and if you are one that handles yours then congratulations. We still have a lot of forgotten children being raised by grandparents, family members, and in foster care who have living parents.

Equal division of assets occurs if the divorce is uncontested by both parties. This excludes child support and alimony. If any party contests the divorce, the settlement becomes negotiable. One party can receive ± 50%.
