Wow Cynthia! That is a really neat item to collect. I've always wanted one and it was just a bonus that it already came with a slide. Thanks for watching
Amazing haul!! Of course I was on ordering Timmy stuff as I was watching what you were showing LOL!! Love the antique finds!! Those stamps and that book are sooooo awesome and the vintage viewmaster in the box!!! Wow! Pirates of the Caribbean has always been my favorite!! The goodies sent to you from Lochby look so nice, great for travelling! Thanks for sharing all of this fun stuff!! Happy crafting! :)

Hi Maggie! The stamps you bought at the antique shop are beautiful. Better contact Tim so we can have a stamp sticker book #2. Girl, I want to go shopping with you. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Dee. Girl I would love that! I feel like I drag my daughters along with me to keep me company, not that they are truly interested in antique/thrifting with me. Lol. We would definitely do some damage together! :)
Getting that film roll is the coolest thing! I used to run an old theatre in the town I lived in about 25 yrs ago, so I think your find was so amazing!!
No way! That is so cool. I bet that was very nostalgic for you to see the film roll. I'm going again tomorrow to see what else I find. Hopefully I'll have a fun haul for you on Monday. Thanks for watching
I think your box is a Singer sewing machine drawer! I love them. Gurl if we lived next to each other we would DANGEROUS and absolutely broke 😂😂 You're always as excited as i get about these types of things. You make me laugh out loud!

@@SunsetCrafts I live in New York so we have very little antiquing, but Ebay is just as dangerous LOL. I've been looking at those Singer drawers for a while now but the shipping costs are to crazy for me to justify getting one. It's summer so lots of garage sales, I'll keep looking. In the mean while I think I'm going to order one of the Tim Holtz vignette boxes. I need a place to store all the little goodies I've been making without hiding them. I just finished watching one of your videos where you're making file folder ephemera, to great!! Can't thank you enough for all these videos. you're such a great teacher! Have the best day Maggie!
The TH launch was over 3 hours!! Marathon, but super good, the makes were amazing as usual. I loved all of the manila paper stuff, but honestly, the strips, the floral tissue paper and the cello tape got me. The most amazing finds were the vintage ones. The cotton gin book was where people brought their cotton in to be weighed & sold I believe, very cool bit of history there! Love the stamps, view finder and the sewing machine drawer were great finds. Those drawers are quite expensive. Super fun haul!
I was really excited to share my TH order, but I can't lie. I was super excited to share my vintage finds more!! Glad you felt the same. Thanks for watching Jean
You are so lucky to have gotten those postage stamps and movie reel and view master I remember those view master I had one actually. Thanks for sharing.
The cards and frames you were matching up, those are for making your own "carte de visite" -type photos. You put your photo on the plain side of the card (so the fancy old time printing becomes the back). Then put the frame around the photo. Those are really neat. Gonna see if I can find some. Thanx. 😸😽👵
Hi Maggie, I’m a little behind on my videos! Man these new items are awesome! I’ve made my list and checked it twice 🤣😂🤣. Can’t wait to see how you use them, I’m sure whatever it is it will be beautiful! 🌻

Thanks for the info on the logbook. I thought it was a super cool treasure too. I'll have to do some more investigating to find out more about it. Thanks for watching Jean.
The movie film you have is called a "trailer". It is not the entire movie, just the preview. The squiggly line on one side of each frame is the sound track. I used to buy trailers to cut apart and mount into (35mm) slide frames. Then I would have photos printed from them (of my fave actors). Five bucks sounds about right for today's prices. Have fun! 😸😽👵
I thought the movie film roll looked a little small for it to be the whole movie, but I did see others that specified that they were "Trailers" but this one didn't, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for watching
I can’t wait to see how you incorporate the house photos into a project! Maggie, you’re going to have to do two videos a day to use all this stuff, and I will be here for it!! No pressure, haha! 😂 Now, you’ll be on the hunt for those old View Master reels - hope you find more! Are you going to scan the cotton ginner’s (pronounced like gin, the drink) book pages so that you can use them over and over? Fantastic haul video!!!❤
I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on and come up with some fun projects for the houses. That'll be fun. I'll definitely be going antiquing again this weekend to see what else I find. To me OG means original. Lol. I did see that make with the half frame. Very cool idea. That's why they are on his team of makers. Very cool! I hope you had a fabulous birthday Suzy!!

@@SunsetCrafts Thrift shops sometimes, antique stores for sure. They are beautiful and can be scanned and printed to use on cards or journals. Nice thing about doing this is that you do not destroy the originals and can reprint the images as often as you like with no damage to the originals. I found some cook books with plastic sleeves at Hobby lobby that nicely fit the cards I have in my collection. I have about four of these binders filled with the cards, I absolutely love them. Another thing I have used the scanned images for is I backed them with 110# card stock and inked the edges so they are ready to use for a card. I love anything that is vintage, liked your video and love all the TH goodies you just got.

I agree. I wish the paper dolls were a little more Matt. Some of it has to do with the papers they are printed on. I have a friend who puts Matt medium on all her paper dolls. She says it makes them look better, if she accidentally gets glue on one of them it does not leave a mark. I have been using some Matt medium on other things like shiny stickers, that type of thing and it does seem to make them more Matt. I don’t care at all for shiny stickers and was given a bunch of them for Christmas. So that could help with those photo frames. Not sure. Try it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it works ok.
