I bought the literature book as an avid book lover and absolutely love itt (it was also only £10!). After I read the the literature one I will look into the crime, philosophy, psychology to gain more knowledge so I can add more depth to my writing. No one really talks about these so I appreciate this.

Hello, Yonatan. No need to have previous knowledge. It actually provides a lot of details for each of Shakespeare's play (e.g. characters, plots, themes, etc.).
