KC's Sonic 1 Revamped is an unfinished and cancelled Sonic the Hedgehog hack.
Eggman is believed to be planning on taking over the South Island and the Emeralds, but since Eggman doesn't have enough resources this time around, he sent a Metal Sonic to take over the Emeralds and take over the world. As Eggman takes refuge in his lair, Metal Sonic tries to kill Sonic and everything in his path, Eggman will control and watch Metal Sonic's every step to ruin the landscape and take over the South Island and the world.

It looks weird seeing Sonic 3’s sprites with Sonic 1’s animations but darn it, I freaking love it!
Sonic 3 Sonic with Sonic 1 Sonics walking frames looks really nice.
This looks so nice, especially the Special stages, they're slick.
Absolutely phenomenal between the music and the zone layout.
I love the Design of the Zones and the Music on them so much! Also that Music and Colour Design on Sparkling Park Zone is beautiful.
21:10 I like how here, the level design hasn’t changed from Labyrinth since the mod creator probably didn’t expect you to get here. Same goes for a good chunk of act 2 even despite it being the intended path.

I've ever only seen two hacks that modify Sonic 1's sprites to make them look like ones from Sonic 3. This is one of them.

Impressive for an early beta, or someone's first hack. Although it's a crying shame that this KCEXE person thinks they can take credit for "character design" or for the game engine's programming.

@Mr. Joker 27 no seriously, why would you alter the _in-game_ credits to credit the wrong people? "I posted the right credits in a forum post somewhere on the internet" is not a defence, modifying the in-game credits is an intentional action.

Shadow and Rouge in classic games are a bad idea honestly. It just feels weird with them there. But Knuckles is fine.

The music is slow in 50Hz so there's no way this hack is using Clownacy's sound driver. Someone is telling fibbs.
@Mr. Joker 27 You mean Sonic 2 clone driver V1 right? Not V2? V2 is Clownacy's copycat driver that optimises audio for 50Hz and adds drum sample fading. I don't care that the music is slow in PAL I just pointed it out because it says in the description that the hack uses Clownacy's Sonic 2 clone driver but hacks that use his driver are never 17.5% slower so something ain't right. Sounds like regular Sonic 1 SMPS 68k to me.
