- We take the Honda Fury on the Interstate for the first time I did it cause I wanted to see how it would perform and handle for Mr. Stevy on future trips. I’ve haven’t been disappointed by the Fury yet. So let’s see how it’ll do!
Those 5 thumbs down must be the jealous guys that don't own a Fury. Nothing wrong with this video at all, an evening ride with lovely sunset any biker on any bike would appreciate.
I love watching POV footage of cruisers riding on the freeway/highway. Unfortunately there are not a lot of channels with them. Keep these coming. Also you don’t have to talk the whole time. Some of us just want the footage.
Ruben Ware maybe I’ll make separate videos for you guys with not talking. But if they don’t get views I won’t do many of them.

I drove my 2013 Fury from Florence SC to Myrtle Beach last September and it was one of the best rides I had in a long time. Weather was great.

If the Honda Fury rides as effortlessly in the wind on the freeway without a windshield as my Yamaha Stryker 1340cc does, then this is a SWEET bike. I love the look of it and my buddy owns a two year old Harley and it's supposed to be "one of the good ones" and it's always breaking down. The Honda is made for RIDING.

Like your vids. Alot. Helped me in deciding on a Fury for myself. A '19 ABS...in three days. And weather says it will be sunny and almost 70! Hot damn!

The Fury does very well on the interstate. I took a ride on one when I lived in Colorado. Took it on I-25 up to Cheyenne WY from Aurora CO and back.
Just got a 2016 Honda Fury, Love the bike, I'm 6'in tall though and the bike fits me perfectly, its super comfortable for how tall i am, my knees sit good below the tank and i don't feel all jammed up. Thank you for the video's it helped me make my decision on buying it.

@@StevyFaux You think it could handle coast to coast? I bought a Honda Grom to go on the TAT for some fun but it's taking forever to come in for that idea, keeps getting pushed back and there is a few fury's available and when i found out about the fury's my mind was only bothered by pricing, i just wanted something cheap to practice on first. If it's as good as a lot are saying i might just take the dive.
And how is your Miles per tank?
@@ramblinjay3816 I think it would be fine coast to coast. Ours gets around 110-130 miles per tank. I want a grom pretth badly 😂

Yeah man! Several years ago a big gravel truck blew a rear trailer tire. The tread belt along with some of the steel inner belting raked the top of the car I was driving. I had a ducking reaction when I saw it coming.
Scary stuff for sure.
Have a 2019 fury and I love the Fwy, Interstate, Back roads, good ride to Myrtle beach always.
Great video! I have a '22 Fury and it's amazing. I live and ride in New Mexico primarily and I rode it to the Grand Canyon and back. Phenomenal. Fast. Great handling and of course, the looks never fail to get enormous attention. That said, I will be changing out the stock seat and adding a windshield, I've already lost two phones 😄 I love this bike 🙌🏿💯
That’s awesome! We love riding in New Mexico/Arizona. Will hopefully be making a trip there next early spring.

I've always had a windshield on all my previous bikes so even after 5 years of ownership I still avoid the Interstate on my Fury, but in fairness it's really not that bad. Great bikes.

Stevy Faux thank you for the Intel. I went and looked at it last night. It is certainly affordable. Christmas is less than two weeks away. I may have this in my garage when I get back from the Barrett-Jackson next month.
I hope you get it so I’m not tempted to buy it anymore!
i dont like that style(im a short wheel base kind of guy) but for the people that do , honda hit a homerun...no mods no hassle just pay sit on it and you are all set

Id like to see more in this "chopper" style, more options on engine sizes, it'd also open the custom market for these types as well. Stryker and Raider from yamaha are ok-is but I like just a bit more rake. would love to see the VTX motors on frames like these

I commute my 2017 Fury round trip 150 miles all year round as long as above 35 and dry. All on I95 Baltimore and Philly. Comfortable commuter. I put a big windscreen on it. In 6 months l put on 8000 miles.
Its a Honda, ride the crap out of it and it will keep running
Cons - 120 miles until gas light turns on. Small tank looks cool though
Con - scrape stock pegs when cornering but that's my fault
Pros - Honda Reliability
Pros - fuel injection
Pros - seat comfortable AFTER BREAK IN

My fury is my seventy first motorcycle and the best for long rides I also have an 1150 BMW for short rides
I imagine that since the Fury is liquid cooled you won´t get the same heat coming off the engine as you might with a Harley. Thanks for answering my question about how it handles on the freeway!
Yes the 1300 in the Fury runs very cool. Don’t have any complaints of heat coming from the motor.

Love the video and the Honda Fury! Question ? I’m getting back into riding and I haven’t rode in 30 years. Would this bike be easy to ease back into riding in your opinion?
+Joseph Hemphill yes I think so. Just take it easy at first and let yourself get the hang of it. It took me a little bit to get comfortable with it cause it does handle a little different. But it didn’t take me long and I can start out from a stop at full lock now with it no problem. It’s nice and light and easy to flip around. Thank you for watching. Yes! Havent owned a bike since 02. Last rode...5 (?) years ago. Test rode a new 17...like riding a tricycle! Sold! Im picking up my 2019 Fury in three days!!!
Laid-back and comfy NOT sport bike handling BUT easy to drive. I'm 6' 190 pounds with a bad knee. Need the cruiser style to work the controls so there will never be a Gold Wing in my future. Enjoy your Fury, I love mine
Hello! I was wondering if the elevated gas tank on the Fury gives you some shielding from the wind? I have the Honda Stateline. No windshield. When I get up to speed, it feels like wind will push me off.
We haven’t changed the tank. It does do very well with blocking the wind.
I enjoyed that.

Curious how this bike does at cruising speeds like on the interstate at say 75 or 80. I have read the older VTX 1300's were not so great at higher speeds one was always trying to find a higher gear. Not sure how this bike would compare to the VTX 1300 hopefully it is geared a little higher.

Did you feel the necesstity for an 6th gear overdrive on the interstate (Germany = Autobahn xD)?
No not really. The motor isn’t over Erving at 80. I suppose on the autobahn it depends how fast you want to go 😂. The bike tops out at 100 in stock form and even then it doesn’t sound like it’s over reving.
@@StevyFaux thnx for the reply. I guess it is good to go. 75 mph cruising speed is more than enough for me ;) xD. As long it does not rev in very high rpm range it is good :).
I just made a trip 1000 miles plus on my 2013. At 70mph or more i have to hold my legs onto the pegs and wore them out fairly quickly. At lower speeds it is fine. I'm 5'10 so I don't think height is an issue. Maybe floorboards will help with this. Anyone know of any for the fury?
Are those popping sounds bugs or some debris hitting you?

Where did you get those spiked pegs?
They were on it when we bought it. They are DLXprodox and I would not recommend them.
Does the wind beat you up?
The wind is better on the Fury than my Roadking. The front of the fury blocks a lot of wind And a lot of bugs.

Whats the longest ride have y'all taken on the Fury? Smallish gas take and no storage are two "cons."
+Twistydigit Top Dawg I’m so sorry! I responded to your comments and...... I don’t know... it didn’t go through... but the longest trip so far that we have done with the Fury is about 160 miles. The wife will be able to go farther this year cause she is more experienced. But I have a longer ride planned, and her permission to take, that will be about 600 miles or so in a day. So I will keep you posted on that.

You won’t be disappointed with a Fury, that is for sure!
Fury is fun but it's no toy. You might find yourself using it more than you think. My '17 Fury turned in to my Commuter Scooter. I did put a Memphis Shades on it but it's stock otherwise. Have fun and ride safe
