Why don’t you ploughing or deep cultivate after this , we try to get highest possible yield so we bought new ploughs for this season, the difference in yield is huge and with these prices profit is higher, we’re using Kverneland ploughs and Horsch Tiger AS.

I know what you mean about fresh worked dirt in the spring is one of the best smells. I use to work for a farmer part time and really enjoyed the smell I sure do miss it. So now I just roll my window down when I go by a field they are working up lol

Flip the drawbar over on the tractor and it should be similar to the 9R. We did it to our magnum to match our 8R
Can’t be done on a fendt They have low draw bars. Does make them more stable.
That is a nice-looking setup.
As an old farm boy I find the idea that you can get anything to grow in this half cultivated soil amazing. Now that said am old school of plow it under and disc it to break it down then to use a seeding cultivator to begin all over again usually with a rotational crop. Having to use so much fertilizer to grow the same crop over and over again sounds like an enormous expense compared to organic crop rotation to restore the soil
Glad to see you hitting it hard again. We just got hit with major snow storm 18 to 24 inches couple more days a other one coming in . I'm put of it in the Philippines with my wife with dementia living out her final days. Missing the farm and trucking.
I really like the way the tillage unit chewed up the corn stalks and root balls, very impressive.
Same here, does a very nice on corn ground. I would like to see it done on the bean ground too.
My boss has an excelator we love that thing bout to rebuild it this summer you don't want to know what that costs lol but still cheeper than a new one
I’m in the process of building a small white disk into a hybrid between multiple brands of vt tools the excellerator is one of the models that work best on my ground so I’m trying to get the best of them and get rid of the draw backs for my temperamental fields

Three legged tractor. We have one of those. Old Ford tw15 turbo 6cyl. Think about 140hp. Blew apart a front right planetary. Trying to find a used parts. Only been sitting 5 years. New on the farm early 80's. Can only hope. Luckily we can use if we take out the guts and use in 2wd. Just want in on the small grain trailer because anyone can drive an old stick shift Trans, not like an old road ranger that's in the truck. Bit hard for modern youngsters to manage them lol
