Thanks again Clint for another great flute segment. I have tried playing in some of these styles. It was helpful to see them illustrated by you. I hadn't thought of some of them. I'll try to incorporate them all in my playing.
Thanks Halina! I actually find it is the *sequence* that lends to the emotional feeling. Spacious after the others is, I feel, more powerful than Spacious on it's own.
@@ClintGoss That makes sense - after a phrase we leave time to let me music flow into our thoughts. The phrase itself must be something expectional and sincere to make a better impact. I try to leave longer gaps between phrases than I intend to - I found on recordings that I end them too abruptly and I don't even notice it while playing. That's something proving the importance of listening as in your other video 🙂
Superb narration style, appreciate the close up views of finger movements, and your breath control is mind-blowing. Instructional videos that captivate....Thanks Mate. Cheers!!
👏Hi Clint. Great tutorial as always! 👍 BTW: I always make it a point to inculcate that fourth style: "Emotional" with all my instruments, especially when it comes to my diatonic harmonicas, Bb trumpet, Bb clarinet, alto saxophone, and - you guessed it - with my Native American flutes. 😊 ♫
Excellent as always. You are a master of the Native American Style flute. Great work. I have the opportunity to visit the Museum of Native American History in Bentonville, Arkansas. A display had an early flute dating back 1400 years. I bet you could produce great music from that old flute.

Thank you very much! Just started with my first flute and its a pleasure to watch and listen to you! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
What a great lesson! I really enjoyed it😊
Nice thanks. Very informative.

Thanks Clint, great idea on passing the style cards around in the flute circle!
Thank you for the lessson! I found spacious style more emotional for me than emotional style. I could listen to it for hours!

Awesome thank you so much Clint, appreciate your sharing your thoughts and expertise on the Native American Flute 🙏
EXCELLENT! Picked up a few tricks, as usual.
Thank you Clint for yet another wonderful Flute Cast...I love each and everyone of them!!!

I always wanted to break open a case in a museum and play the captive flute inside ... ball-peen hammer?
