So, all this time I thought Rufus was wearing a white trench coat over a suit. But at 1:57 it's clearly visible that he's wearing (trench coat pants?) over regular white pants. I'm trying to figure out the concept of those voluminous trench coat pants that even have buttons going along the side. Good illusion though, because at first glance no one will think this guy is wearing two pairs of pants, which is ridiculous cause it's not even cold there.
I'm pretty sure Rufus wears a long vest under his suit jacket. The original artwork definitely made it look like a vest, down to how it was cut. This new version is longer and lacks the vest cut, plus the buckles are new. But it's probably still meant to be a long vest.
According to the people who did the concept art, they literally didn't think about how the modelers would do his pants in 3D before drawing his concept art. So they probably don't actually make physical sense.
