Now it all makes sense why Homelander was happy to see Noir again and "that" strong reaction when he figured out that Noir lied to him about Soldier Boy.
This was before he became a villian. This was his first time handling a crime. After this he was interviewed by the pres, he blamed himself sepf and wanted to tell the truth. But VOT wanted him to lie, he was a hero at first but VOT turned him into a villian
I wouldnt say hero. He falls more along innocent child here. He doesnt know how to control his emotions and strength. He isnt very well educated and doesnt understand consequences or the significance of his actions. Vought essentially just chastises him without providing opportunity for learning so instead of growing from this point and becoming a better person, homelander reinforces his faults and grows bitter and uncaring.
I beg to differ, he's aware of the decisions he makes and therefore chose to follow orders and become the villain he is. With free will and his power, we all know that he always had the choice and chose the lesser path. Everyone has a choice and we make them every day, it constitutes the direction of our lives. He could have chosen to be a hero and expose vaught but he didn't make the right choice and we see a more gruesome and morally weaker version of homelander.
@@ethanerdman1137while he is at fault he isn't ENTIRELY to blame for this scenario. In this case it seems like self preservation, panic, and having a soulless corporation as a parental figure pushed him down this path.

@@bradyhoneycutt3564 No I don't think I will
It just showed how homelander became so messed up. I feel so much pity.
Would love an actual animated series of The Boys in this style, or the other one that focuses on Butcher drugging up a Supe.
It's called the boys diabolical
@@HaloPhantomXBut it's an anthology. I think he means a fully fleshed out show
Yeah never insults as a super powered sociopath.
Disagree 100% Angry = Stupid.
I love how when noir kills the woman homelanders All “holy shit dude that’s messed up even for me”
I think he was more surprised, because he assumed that black noir was gonna save the hostage and use her testimony against him. But instead he just killed her right away showing that he was on his side
This man takes online trolls of “i wish to punch you through the internet” to a whole new level.
Homelander’s first appearance: *melts a gun in a guy’s hand*
Homelander in Diabolical: *tries the same thing on a gun-shaped grenade*
He learned controlling his laser eyes
Remember when he warmed that milk without destroying

I love the slight callout to the show when he melts the gun and it becomes slag to the more realistic "ITLL EXPLODE!" in this one 😂

homelander looks like aquaman's brother in this

i enjoyed the deathbattle between omniman and homelander so much.
They wanted to be invincible sooooo bbaaaadddddd
Cook offs are pretty rare they normally happen on machine gun/or if you're pushing a semi auto hard
I imagine heat vision will do the trick
And who's going to have the time to shout about why that's bad, while it's happening, rather than just drop the hot gun or move it
@@Quocalimar Probably someone who is shocked at the stupidity of the action. It takes a few seconds sometimes to really process what is going on.
@@Quocalimar ah yes, let me drop the gun that has a above 500 degree laser beam coming at right my chest and heart! Great plan!!

"I make one mistake an your gonna hang me over that!" Littleraly everyone caught in prison today
Ripped off jaw sincerely made me feel terrified
It wouldve been awesome to get the whole shebang in this 'Invincible' like animation
Calls him an idiot but doesn't drop the gun
Where do you think the laser would go if he dropped the gun?
@@WaterDrinker011 who cares? Get away from the thing thats about to explode, worry about mr laser eyes after that. Or throw the gun towards homelander, eyes track movement instinctively so his laser would stay on the gun for the split second it takes to explode.
No by all means tho tell me why standing there and trying to explain physics to him was the best choice

Now it all makes sense why Homelander was happy to see Noir again and "that" strong reaction when he figured out that Noir lied to him about Soldier Boy.

When you realize out of all anti-heros/villains in animated superhero shows, he has the most beautiful eyes (mha doesn't count-)
He's chasing himself~
*rips jaw off*
She stumbles after it like she could put it back 😂
This was before he became a villian.
The compound v had completely made him mentally unstable
I beg to differ, he's aware of the decisions he makes and therefore chose to follow orders and become the villain he is. With free will and his power, we all know that he always had the choice and chose the lesser path. Everyone has a choice and we make them every day, it constitutes the direction of our lives. He could have chosen to be a hero and expose vaught but he didn't make the right choice and we see a more gruesome and morally weaker version of homelander.
@@ethanerdman1137while he is at fault he isn't ENTIRELY to blame for this scenario.
When humans are given orders from higher ups we would like to think that the individual will always choose to disobey if the order is morally wrong.
And yet we have studies and books showing that even good individuals may choose to follow through unfortunately. In this case it seems like self preservation, panic, and having a soulless corporation as a parental figure pushed him down this path.
Bro I thought black noir was gonna kill him tbh for those who don’t know black noir is homelanders clone . More evil btw and more powerful he does horrific things with homelanders costume on and frames him and messes with his mind to think it was him
I am 100% aware of this fact, but the show creator of the boy's said that Black Noir is gonna have a different story than his comic counterpart version.
@@shepherd9312 I just wouldn’t be surprised if they ended it like that they say that now but they can change their minds. and end it at that storyline of black noir as homelander he’s just so unpredictable we don’t know they can give us a different cartoon short where he is homelander we never know
@@shepherd9312 no they did not tf are you on
Black Noir is black in the show, so I think they are going a different route.

Black noir was like "CALM DOWN DUDE I AIN'T SAYING ANYTHING"

That “shut up” was needed
*Rips lady's jaw off*
Homelander: it wasn't my fault
I mean if I was set up to deal with a hostage situation I'd be pretty pissed too when one of the hostage starts calling me names
I think my only complaint about Homelander's switch from real to fake hero is that it happens so quickly. Honestly I think I would've loved some more prequel content about Homelander genuinely trying to be a hero and failing because of one reason or another, with Vought (Mainly Black Noir) covering up his mistakes until he figures everything out.
I like how this shows he tried a lil to be a hero but immediately fucked it
