You can find mini metal lathes fairly cheap. You don’t need a lot of power to make a pen out of aluminum. You just need a drill bit set, Center drill, a tap and die, some files and some fine (600grit) wet/dry sand paper. For a couple hundred dollars you can outfit yourself.

What is the cost of this pen
I don't really make them for sale. The video is more educational to show people who are new into metal lathes what can be done. I may have a prototype one kicking around if you are interested.
