    Think it's a bit harsh. He's intentionally put O'Hal on a tight entry line to be able to make space for this move. The door was open and O'Hal knew he was wide and would have to cut back. I think the only damning thing is that he a wobble and had to lift the bike up, so it ended up looking a half arsed move. Bit close to a 50/50 though for me.

    I think the judgemenr was harsh. To be fair to mackenzie, o'halloran left zero room and he knew he was there, it was either the adjustment that caused collision or front wheel on grass and a sliding bike that would prob take him out anyway.

  • @boxhead7180
    @boxhead7180 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    O'Halloran heard him coming at the end of the straight and gave him room, which is why he ended up off line through the next corners. It's a pity Mackenzie couldn't have given him the same courtesy....

    O Halloran kept leaning in when he knew-however 'unfairly'-Tarron was there. He could have stopped squeezing as Tarron couldn't go any tighter, stayed up and argued in stewards room. As it is Tarron had to get his elbows out, Jason has been super aggressive all season, not quite Irwin aggressive but certainly Iddon aggressive. I only hope Tarron doesn't into his shell and meekly give up championship...

    No way he could have got through cleanly as proven by the fact that he had to pick it up at the apex and that's what took O'Halloran out. Making a dangerous move on you own is fine but doing it inside another rider whose half a bike ahead is inviting him to join in with your accident. You can't just bulldoze you way through other riders. I like Mackenzie but 3-seconds was really lenient.The fact that marquez does it nearly every race doesn't make it ok, it sucks. Just my opinion.

      Brilliant riding would have been not to cause another rider to crash and potential serious injury. How wide is a bike and rider? more than a couple of inch's. If O'Halloran had left a bigger gap, sure thing go for it but that was a dangerous and unfair manoeuvre by his teammate.

    Initially he had a gap so I think Taz was well within his rights to go for it - he was racing for the win, unfortunately OH pulled in on the turn and closed the gap, OH could have given him room once he knew he was there but didn’t - so he crashed instead of just being forced wide. Racing incident and one which their boss should accept as they are both committed to the win. Hope they shook hands and moved on

    • @randykawasaki
      @randykawasaki 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Nope. There was insufficient room down the inside when Taz cut back in. He was chancing it for the win, fair enough, but once it went wrong he was always going to loose it in the steward's room. Same result in GPs or WSBK.
