Lyoto is the reason i started watching MMA. His traditional martial arts background mixed with his unorthodox technique within mma at the time was fascinating to me. Legend ❤

The Dragon, bro?! Who can say that there’s a better fight podcast than Rampage’s? Seriously… Always wholesome, always phenomenal guests… can’t get better than this.
Another legend of the sport. I was a big fan of Machida back in the day. That light heavyweight division was on fire back then. Machida, Rampage, Chuck, Shogun, Tito, Wanderlei, Griffin, Vitor, Evans, Henderson, Jardine, Thiago Silva, that division was stacked!
One of the best lineups in UFC history imo, I wish I would have gotten into it earlier but I'm a mcgregor baby lmao, he had that draw nobody could avoid hearing about.
Lyoto is my favorite MMA fighter of all time. Growing up as a Judoka I always respected how he would act after a win. He always showed respect to his opponent no matter what happened. This is something that we learn in Judo. We always practice the principle of mutual respect. The understanding that we both worked hard to be able to fight each other.
This is officially my favorite podcast now this episode has everything in it comedy, authenticity and sound wisdom. Big ups to Rampage, Bear, and Lyoto Did dat!
This stoic philosophical approach to reasoning is why Lyoto has been my favorite mixed martial artist. He is an inspirational human being. Great interview Rampage.
I think I speak for everyone when I say this is quickly becoming one of the best podcasts ever for combat sports and fans all the same. I’ve never heard Machida speak that much but he’s truly a gem that many have forgotten about. I could listen to his wisdom and experience for hours.
Man Lyoto was one of my favorites when I followed every UFC event. Such a great person and story. Rampage is such a good talker this podcast is gonna be one of the best soon.
One of my favorite podcasts ever. Lyoto is a true martial artist, what an inspiration and a man of honor. I loved this. Also, Bear you’re doing an amazing job. Machida has always been in my top 5 because as a kid growing up taking Karate we always heard how it could never be effective in fighting. Machida was the first guy I saw growing up use Karate effectively to win a world title. That knockout against Rashad Evans was the reason I fell in love with the UFC 💯

man lyoto is deep. i can listen to him talk all day. he brings very good wisdom and life lessons. my mom just died not too long ago and i have been battling with grief. lyoto's message of "acceptance" made me realize that it's easier to accept that she's in a better place now and not suffering anymore vs fighting it and still being unhappy everyday. very humble. thank you lyoto. you guys need to bring in more mma legends like Glover, forrest griffin or even Rashad.
I really like when he said about his Father and how he taught him this quote “DO EVERYTHING LIKE IF YOUR GOING TO DO IT THE LAST TIME” I really do think like this at times.
I've followed Lyoto's career since his time in K-1. Absolutely, one of my favourite fighters of all time, simply because he is the quintessential martial artist. Eternal respect towards his career, and thanks as always for the podcast Rampage, Bear, and Lyoto. ♥️🙏
