Absolutely. Big finance, corporations and banks are subsidized the socialist way, as the worker, the small business man, the unemployed and the prostitute fight each other in a game of Monopoly. Varoufakis is among my absolute favourite economists, and I really like his intelligence and analytical skills. For that reason I love him, too, when he calls for organised movement, especially when he is intelligent and must know that chance it will happen is microscopic. Inequality is rising, nationalism is rising, while solidarity is local, if any; but capitalism, wars and climate are global. (I love anyone who has hope for the future, though I am incapable of sharing this.)

It's important for progressives to win over public opinion, that is always a first step for deep and lasting policy changes. It would be great to have more political thinkers, academics and activists which give their contribution in a public debate.

Calling the abusive core of Capitalism " Socialism for the rich" "Corporate Socialism" or " Corporate welfare") because it´s unfair and evil is a double-edged sword.
