Oh yea, they always mix people's voice work in other characters back in the day...I kinda miss those mistakes.😅

It's a shame that the "Thriller" cover got removed from this episode. It fit the Castlevania scene much better than "Mega Move". ☹️

If Mother Brain is the main villan of this show, then why isn't Samus Aran in it.
They were going to add Samus but they had issues doing so in the animated version. However she was within the comic book version though in that they didn't have Simon or Megaman.
I think because they wanted Captain N & Princess Lana to be love interests, while having Samus would have potentially added an unneeded love triangle in the show. That's what I remember hearing at least too.

Samus was featured fairly prominently in the Captain N comics by Valiant. In fact, in one issue, it was revealed that Samus-while under mind control-was the one responsible for Lana’s father’s disappearance.

They almost always did variations of actual songs in this show back in the day from what I can recall.

I remember a girl named Maureen who was part of a group working on a Captain N radio play with the infamous Tuxedo-Mark and he was constantly writing Lana and Zelda to be um... 'more than friends' and he wasn't just writing it as them liking each other, but writing it as them sleeping NEKKID together and pretty much fetishizing lesbians.

@@justanaveragegamer83 Oh I understand. I think none of us really understood back then that we were dealing with a perv who was posing as a male feminist. I mean, I should have at least expected as much since he actually put X-Rated scenes in later chapters of his Captain N fan-continuation. Yup. The other girls got very uncomfortable with the disrespect he was showing.

@@justanaveragegamer83 I'm DEAD SERIOUS. I mean, Lana was like "Oh Zelda, f*** me with your tongue" during a rather explicit-yet-bland solo scene. And then there was a very explicit scene with Zelda, Lana, and a lesbian from the real world getting tongued by the Hylian goddesses. Can't make this shit up if I wanted to. Mark Moore is a disgrace.
And yes, in my continuation that I'm working on , Season 3 didn't happen. I'm working on the REAL Season 3. I'm thinking the REAL Mike Vincent might drop in, and he may have changed during the time Kevin was gone, though the agent sent by the Ultimate Warp Zone censored his absence in a way - basically made people ignore/forget him, and would inject them with false memories should he ever return. And if he stays, someone else will replace him and the memories of everyone - and even the history of that area - will be changed and updated. That's just an idea I have, and I think this change would be slow. Like, nobody really notices Kevin's absence or presence, but his papers and homework are still graded, and his room is still maintained. There are also other Game Masters, including Captain S, who would probably be black and I'm thinking she would get a crush on Lyle. In my head-canon, Lana, Lyle, and Charles have the last name "Fairchild" which is the first company to make a cartridge-based game system. The first Game Master was King Fairchild.
Got some other ideas too, like maybe Kevin has only 27 natural teeth, and two of them are capped anchor teeth for a bridge after he lost a tooth in an accident (or from being beaten up by Mike Vincent), and he hasn't told anyone in the N-Team. Also, Kid Icarus breaks a new feather, and with him being in Castlevania, he's now got The Count breathing down his neck. The reason? His 'new feather' is also called a 'blood feather.'
Also thinking of putting in some mild off-colour jokes like the old 'don't milk the boy cows' joke, or maybe someone mentions that another character's actions were rather 'wrong-headed' to which Kid Icarus might ask "You mean he was thinking with the wrong headicus?" to which the other more adult-members of the N-Team laugh awkwardly at his innocent remark. Basic crap-past-the-radar. Might have a somewhat more serious tone while keeping with the original Captain N sensibility.
That's genius. I knew I heard Mark Moore's name from somewhere. I had to Google him to find out that he was the one that created that website I use to go to religiously in the early 2000s cause that's all there was at the time. I even drew the scene of Kevin when he first met Lana for the first time. (The Keanu Reeves' "whoa" moment) I can't believe he did that 😡. That must've been when I joined the military in '01 cause I forgot about his site. Thanks for the sub. 🥰
