I find it really interesting I sincerely don't want to criticise but I also just wanted to tell you that the language is called Afrikaans. Some people describe it as a dialect of Dutch. "Taal" simply means "language" and is never used as the name of the language (or dialect). 🙂
Yes It's Afrikaans. The metal parts had corroded when it was pressed to vinyl at Decca in the 1960s or 70s. The only way to remove the noise is to do it manually or add EQ.
