- New Delhi: United States President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and other dignitaries including Ivanka Trump were hosted by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind at dinner in Rashtrapati Bhavan on the second and the last day of Trump's visit to India. Vice President Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several business men including Uday Kotak, Sanjay Lalbhai, Pankaj Patel and Sudhir Mehta of Torrent group were present in the dinner function among others. Chief Ministers of Assam, Haryana, Telangana were also present in the dinner function. Presented is full video.

The people of India gave the most amazing welcome to our President, First Lady and their family and representatives. I was just blown away by how they showed how much warmth, affection and respect they have for our President and for the United States. I loved watching every single one of all of these videos. I hope that the people of India will continue to grow in economic prosperity, and that it will continue to spread to every person in India as our two countries continue our deep friendship. I wish I could have tried whatever it is they had for supper - I'm sure it was the best Indian food on the planet!!!!!

The Chief Minister of my State, who on normal days is fiercely anti-Modi, was also present at this dinner, on invitation from Modi. While leaving for New Delhi, in a press conference, he said that he admired Trump a lot and it was a great opportunity for him to meet Trump in person. Love for Trump in India cuts across religions, castes, states, languages, sometimes, even ideologies. Perhaps, he was the most loved American President ever in India.
