Excellent video, those Flatheads fight good. You should consider placing your ads right after you release the fish instead of in the most intense part of landing the fish. People will click off the ad because they want to see the fish. You are an awesome creator.

This was me! Mate dead set a month or so ago solo at night in the boat hooked what turned out to be a 92cm Croc. My net was smaller then yours and I had about 3 attempts at landing it with my dog barking and going mental jumping on my back and I had to grab the tail and just cradle it into the boat. Can't believe you found the pliers. Dream fish legend! Well done

Tim nice to see you enjoying your little boat again. from what I can see a lip around the outer edge of your boat would help to keep any thing such as your Gerber or pole or anything else from being knocked over the side and in to the water. also a tether line on the Gerber attached to your belt loop wouldn't hurt either.. also get a gaff anda bigger net ...lol

You can get a little lanyard/keeper chain for your next set of pliers. Carabiner on one end, keyring type split ring on the other, costs like $2 off ebay, which is a bargain if you think of how much the pliers cost. You could also grab a paint pen and a measuring tape and mark out 5cm increments somehwere on the deck so you'll never have to guess sizes.
That's special. You definitely need a bigger net.

That is so epic mate. I had the same issue with netting my 92cm I got. Lost a fair few not netting right. You did it sweet in the end. I was taught to have enough line out so you can just raise the tip of the rod and to bring in towards you head first into the net as all the weight out front. So damn epic bro well done. =)
